Alien Attack - From the planet VX

Okay I have decided to take a step back and take all on a journey on the evolvement of Suby in Photography. I have been interested in photography for many years, but it wasn't till 2005 I decided to become a semi "wannabe" professional photographer. I will over the next few.... (however how long it takes) post pictures taken in the infancy of my semi "wannabe" pro photographer life (SwPP from now on). This was taken in the summer of 2005 at Silverstone. My first press gig; did not know what I was doing, did not know how to fully operate the camera, did not know anything about lighting, composition, etc. Auto setting was king then, but hey I still managed to pull of some decent shots. What type of photography made Suby delirious with Joy? no idea here, was still experimenting. Enjoy the journey. Comments are welcome. Be gentle with me :) "Ars longa, vita brevis"

"Ars longa, vita brevis" - "Art is long, Life is short"

What is the actual meaning?

Your art outlives your life.

***Life is too short for you to master any sort of art.***

You shot with a press pass at Silverstone?! That's quite an achievement for an amateur using auto. How did you get in? A lot of photographers would kill for an opportunity to get near the pits.

The Maven,

It was the gift of the gab that got me the press gig. I am blessed with being able to look the part and talk the talk whenever I wish smile

Although when I got there and saw the cameras and lenses the real pros where brandishing, I started feelign like a puny human.

You will see some of those pics posted up her in the future.

P.s.
Yes the pits where awesome.

Awesome shot. The air plugs (or whatever is on their heads) gives it a very unique shot. Looks like something futuristic... hmmm may get me thinking from a tech angle... smile
