When do we forget to smile And learn how to sulk? When do we shed out purity And learn to wear masks? When do we forsake honesty To deceive, to lie, to cheat? He looks as though you've just promised to take him to MacDonalds! I remember those happy days, when a small cheeseburger was more than I could handle, and there was not a care in the world wink

Hey! I think this was pretty good for a fresh-faced 'wannabe semi-pro photographer'.
Suby, we need to go out more and take photos of people, sorry to be harsh but this is something that I take personal.

Regarding this shot, you used a flash, ISO was too high and almost looks like you bounced off the ceiling. F-stop? hmmm..."innocence" I don't think is a good title for this image maybe ...."yeah baby, c'mon show me what you got".

More thing out of focus...you used a flash too, must have had you camera on manual, either that or this young did is as fast as FLASH!

You asked for my comments.....wink
I'm sure he's a nice kid but it doesn't work for me. Absolutely no knowledge of ISO's, f-stops etc. but background is a distraction for me. As the floor is so reflective I end up following the line and whoa..why are there a pair of legs there? Perhaps bring is face more in shot and blur background, feel he is very slightly too far to the left.

Now thats more like it smile

Jide - I hear you, I take people shots very serious as well smile At the time I took this shot, did not know anything about ISO, apperture or shutterspeed. Was still green behind the ears and auto was still king. Canon camera was 2 days old.

Beakerst - I agree with you about the pair of legs, although I like the fact he is so far to the left. Was taken as bday party I covered(my 1st) so had to go with opportunities presented.

I have done no editing to this picture as I want you guys to see (if possible) a gradual improvement in my work over time hence me posting really old images for now.

Please do not hold back guys, I really do appreciate your feedback so keep them coming smile You know I do not hold back in my comments as MTC will tell you (I think he thinks I'm a nutter)

Suby.

P.s
We need to organise a shoot one of these days.
Suby, I hear you, I have shots like that too. We ALL have shots like that. I hail your braveru in putting this up.
