Wow, What a Smile

Okay will continue with my images that just depict some fun. We are getting too serious in here with our images, I want you all to loosen up, have some fun, crack a smile, make someone, anyone, everyone smile.

Comments of course are always welcome,  (i will hunt those who do not leave comments :) ) but for this week, not concentrating on getting the perfect fun images, more into conveying the message of the beauty of a smile.

So peeps, once again. Smile, it's 3 more days till Saturday :)

Suby,

'Ars longa, vita brevis'

Hi, Suby. You're great at capturing emotion, but I'm not sure this really works for me. As a simple snapshot, it's fine. On closer inspection, though, there's not too much to hold on to here. I might try cloning out the background. Regards, Brent
Suby & Sinem: 100% agree with you about the background. Was too tired yesterday (still not 100%) to clone it.

Im more into 'Sins' facial expression and reaction to that smile.(or so it appears.)And the woman that disapears into the dark background behind. All in all, not to sure...
Suby & Sinem: But did it make you smile? smile

I like the two women in the background. The looks on their faces, so in contrast with his great smile, makes you wonder why the big difference? These types of shots are fun, and should be left as is.
Suby & Sinem: You know what? I actually cloned the background after Brents comments and posted the edited image up this morning, just was not feeling it. So after a few minutes, I took it back down and put up the original again. What does that say? smile

I agree with Brent's comments above (though I have no idea what 'cloning' means). Does not capture any artistic or creativity that a photographer would have.
Suby & Sinem: He meant I should darken the background. We into the fun part of photography this week Sis smile

Hey dude....you got a little background distraction going on here too. But pictures like these are in the moment, and you can't always control the moment, as we all know. I like this one. The guy has a good smile, and the look on her face is priceless.....
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Mike, yep too bad about the background but hey, not going to stop me from capturing the moment. smile

I think the look on the two main faces make for great subjects, but as mentioned above, the surroundings at that moment weren't favourable at all. If only you could have shot this under better lighting with a cleaner background...
Suby & Sinem: Well if only, this was a club shoot and you know how wonderful(not) the lighting in clubs are. If only..If only...If only.... smile
Highly comical stuff, show those teeth man!!!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks man, like my comment as to where the shot on your blog was taken? lol. Me in a smiley mood. Admit it, it made you smile (although it was with frustration)
Reminds me of a toothpaste ad, nice capture!

Yep it is fun, but plain... anybody could have taken this shot (something I can do on my mac or via kodakgallery, snapfish etc). One can be funny but still evoke/capture that element of creativity. That's what makes some photographers stand out more than others evn when they take 'ordinary' pics!!
It didn't make me smile but laugh aloud !
Great contrast between the man and the woman. She don't understand the joke... ;-)
It's genuine and fun...why change anything at all?
