Kids: they dance before they learn there is anything that isn't music.  ~William Stafford

Here is something to cheer you up on Good Friday. A little girl with bright red curls and a bright red balloon my camera seems to have mysteriously captured last Friday.  She is going about her business, listening to the music of her soul, holding dearly onto her little red balloon, without a care in the world. Makes you almost want to wish you were a child all over again if it wasn't for the pains of growing up.

This Easter weekend, why don't we all resolve to vatch a glimpse of the child within ourselves, stuffing our face with chocolate eggs and bunnies, looking at the world with curious eyes, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Why don't we for once hold onto the little child deep inside us and let them remind us what it was like to enjoy life to the full with no regret for what is done, no care for what is here and no fear for what is to come?

Have a lovely Easter weekend!

May i ask why lord vader? smile i really enjoy to read your thoughts!! Those are so nice!! and you are completely right!!! LEt's take out our child, that we have inside, (some people really deep inside...) and let's open our eyes and senses to a world of beauty, of joy, "curious eyes" as you said to all the magnificent things, that normally, you could take them as unsignificant, but those simply things can makes us laugh and be happy!! By the way, lovely girl!!! and i love the acentued colour on her and her balloon!! Great shot, wonderful comment!! grin

I am impressed with ur work Sinem, and think this is a nice shot. For this shot I will offer my opinion (rememeber this is just my opinion). I am not a fan colour separation used like this. I always think it is sometimes used too strong, I know u want to bring out the lovely kid, but it seems to obvious. Maybe slight deaturation will suffice, not a full deaturation till theres no colour at all. Just my two cents lovely, have a great easter. Suby Suby dooby doo where are u?
Very nicely done!

What a wondeful, rich picture. I love children (especially with gravy ;-). The combinations of color on the child are great -- everything else is grey indeed!

Cutie cutie! The like the desaturation effect, thought it could have been better if the shot was a bit more sharper!
Beautiful...
Happy Easter!
Nice informal capture. I've never seen Vader's soft side before; if the Republic could only see your weaknesses! You're a good soul way down deep, I imagine. Asking everyone to get one with their inner-child on this Easter Weekend? Oh how you've changed, dark one. But for the better, it's still uncertain. Cheers, Brent
Suby & Sinem: Sorry to dissapoint you Brent. L:ord Vader is still bent on taking ver the world with the helpd of his death star. This image had absolutely nothing to do with LV. LV does not fo nice images and nice words. smile
