Footie

Suby still in the house.

Still tired to the max. It's Monday in a few hours, not looking forward to another week working. Feel I need a holiday, but always feel that way. Why not a zillionaire? DARN!! How to get through it? Will think happy thoughts, it's what always gets me through the week. Friday is but 5 days away :)

Footie

I took this shot on Friday 21-Apr-06, couple of guys from work where having a little kick around (yup the famous British weather was actually a little on the sunny side) in the park outside our building. I stood around just trying to catch some shots. I never realised just how difficult it is to catch GOOD shots in such a fast paced game.  I knew what I wanted in my head, capturing them was another issue. Always 1 second behind that perfect shot, or the framing was way off. I eventually got some really lovely lovely shots, but cannot stop thinking "the extremely stonking shots where missed by me".

Anyway I decided to post this shot  since it was a football weekend in the UK, also it's something different from me, not a face in sight lol. I heard Chelsea lost, to who I don't know but saw lots of people celebrating at this fact. I will never undertand the passions that run deep for the game. (shock & horror, Suby not a football fanatic, does that make me less of a man??)

Hope you all have a wonderful productive week. Look on the bright side, 5 more days till Friday, I'm definitely counting the minutes.

Processing: Lots of work with adjustment layers and curves, played with colour hues, sharpened grass in front of the ball (not necessarily in that order & missed off a couple of other steps) and presto.

i share ur passion, or rather lack of it, for the game. would rather listen to people's commentary than sit down and watch it. love the colours.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Deji, Football, why do people go soo gaga over the game? I will never know. smile Suby

Cool photo it looks great, not an ideal footie kit though.
Liverpool beat Chelsea in the F.A Cup half final, the score was 2-1.
Suby & Sinem: The Dude, so does that mean Liverpool win the cup? Or they now have to beat a lesser team? Okay yes I am clueless when it comes to football. The goals sometimes look good though. Hey visit again, maybe I may learn one or 2 things about football from you smile Suby

I'm not sure I like the central composition and the big empty patch of grass in the foreground. Lovely colours though.
Suby & Sinem: That was very intentional. I did absolutely no cropping for this shot. Shot as is (okay apart from the other editing processes smile ). Suby
Nice composition, well done!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ashish

This is one of the best images I've seen from you, however I'm a bit puzzled why you used a Green border?
Suby & Sinem: Well just thought the green looked better than all the other coloured frames I tried smile Thanks man. Suby
