Duck

Okay back to the art of just taking photographs.

Someone asked me the same thing Jide was asked a few days ago, "can I live without Photoshop/editing?"  The answer my friend can be seen in the post above.

No editing done to the image whatsoever apart from converting to JPEG with Picassa.

Not much to write viewers, not feeling 100% at the moment. Hope you are all having a wonderful week

TeeHee...I LOVE this! He's posing for the camera! Looks like he's giving a big 'ol smile too!

We have a pair of ducks that swim in our pool cover (when there is water on it) and then come back in the summer and swim in the pool! I got some shots of them last week, but the pool cover is so nasty, I didn't want to post them. Two years ago they actually laid an egg on the ice expansion pillow that was in the pool! Silly quackers!
Suby & Sinem: This bird was such a poser, just kept posing for me when I was taking the shots (was actually out on a shoot when he wondered over). I liked all the shots I took, and I normarlly do not like duck, geese or the like shots, but these shots work smile Thanks for the comments as always. smile Suby

yeah, no photoshop editing...can u live without that??? smile)) just joking. very nice shot, sharpness is GREAT on this one. you are still one of my favorites smile))
Suby & Sinem: Yup me can live without that. As I always say, editing it to be used to enhance the shot. It is not king. I'm glad this is liked. Will post another shot up probably on Friday, Sinem is itching to post something up tonight I think smile Suby
Cool! Hope you get better Suby.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bro smile

Nice close-up of the duck. It seems to be looking out for something since it's making a long neck...
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Nicola, it was just posing for the camera, bet hes sat in the pond right now, recounting to his fellow duckies about his 5 minutes of fame in front of the camera smile Suby
Nice shot: I love the way you cropped the image.
Suby & Sinem: thanks bro, have to say I was quite pleased how this shot came out, and I did not have to do any editing smile Suby

Nice shot and its even nicer that its not PS-ed. However, I love photoshop and I use it all the time, some consider that cheating and its not true photography. The funny part is these same people have and love colored photographs when TRUE photography is B&W, but I consider it (using PS) smart, becuase not only is one using all available resources, but they are also getting a tad ahead of the competition.

sadhope ya feel better)
Suby & Sinem: Reza, wazzzup? Thanks for the comments. I hear you about Photoshop. I agree with you somewhat, but we should not then loose the art of no editing at all. I see images being posted nowadays that look like photographs, look so unatural, if I wanted a painting, I would have become a painter. Knowing and understanding the merits of editing is the key. Know how to use it to enhance your image (not create it) for me is the key. smile Suby
