Suby still in the House.

I know you guys are getting tired of seeing Suby's shots :) I can hear the "where is Sinem" chants starting up. Sinem is unfortunately busy with work these days, the life of a teacher and Phd, thesis writing person you see. Head always stuck in a book.

Finding it hard to post as well, have a million things to do and getting tired of sleeping at 01:00hrs every night and up by 06:30hrs, but you know what? As far as I am concerned, there must always be a new post on Sinem's & Suby's House, even if I just grab the 1st image I come accross :)

Champions

This was taken 2 Saturdays ago, I think Arsenal had just beaten Chelsea or vice versa or someone had beaten Chelsea(not a football person you see). Sinem & I had gone out for dinner and as normal had the camera with me, I was not actually interested in these 2 guys who where celebrating the Chelsea loss when they jumped in front of me and demanded a shot. Well who am I to say no to such strapping and muscular lads, as I was just about to snap the shot, the lady (apparently another random stranger) jumped into the shot. Oh well, what else to do but snap, snap snap (got off 3 quick shots).

To the lovely strangers, thanks for allowing me to capture this shot.

Okay got to jet, it's 23:57hrs, the cleaners are coming in tomorrow and the house is a mess with books and papers and images every where, have to tidy (I know the irony, but don't want them thinking we messy you see :) )

All have a wonderful weekend. Thanks GOD it's Friday.

Processing: Jide I have made the effort and used Channel mixer for the conversion to monochrome, increased dym. range and we have this. Hope you like.

I know the angst of thesis writing: just one more book for one more footnote. Oops -- better check to see that contradictory opinion. We never had a cleaner when I was doing my Ph.D. -- sounds cushy to me! Thanks for the photo.

I'm not a fan of posed group shots but I've got to say your subjects are quite photogenic! Anyway, kudos for the B&W treatment, I think it works great here. smile
Great shot! Lots of emotion, impact, ... a overall appealing image.
Reminds me of my "good ol' days".
I want say more than that, as I will be giving away to much information then! smile

Good one, I think it's quite hard to avoid making shots like these look like mere snapshots, but you've managed to make it look very nice... Good thing your subjects were so natural in front of the camera too.

You did well with using the channel mixer to convert to monochrome. It's a bit ironic, but that's one of the few things I have used with at least some modicum of success. LOL

I like this one Suby. It's a good capture and story to go along with it. Especially how random stranger #3 just jumped into the shot. I think you did well with the channel mixer obtaining the right tone for the B&W. =]

Thanks for the comment, btw.

Well, I like it. I use the channels adj. layer for conversion--but I'm still learning of course. This trio is pretty irresistable in the triumph of the moment. Funny how fans exult over their team. I would have gone to bed happy last night if the lakers had won.
