UNDER THE GLORIOUS SUN

Suby In The House.

I see  you guys managed to survive 24hrs of my handsomeness. Well for those of you still standing, thank you, thank you for all the comments yesterday. Now you can all put a face to the Subster.

I'm still having a themed week of posting images that makes Suby Smile. Here is another one taken last week Friday during my lunch break. I seem to have taken lots of nice beautiful images on Friday. Oh well it was the 1st day of a little bit of sunshine in the UK, had to make the best of it.

I was walking back to the office when I turned around and beheld this lovely sight, before my brain could actually register the beautifulness of the scene, I had taken a few shots. The way the trees cast a shadow, the way people just sat enjoying the lovely day, the sky lending some ambiance to the scene...  (need not go on?).

So here I am sharing another shot that makes me laugh and smile with you guys, I really hope you all like it.

Let me know peeps. I want your honest feedback.

This one makes me smile too. This week has started out drizmal and promises to stay that way. It's not raining much, it's just gray and not too warm, so this lifts my mood.
Suby & Sinem: I'm glad I am able to do that. Now that is the power of a good photograph. You have made MY day with your comments. Thanks. Suby
Interesting...you seem to have now mastered the processing of the sky. Well done.
Suby & Sinem: Just did not like playing with the sky, oh well, if you can't beat em, join em sometimes. Thanks Bro smile Suby

Nice one, lovely colours, especially in the sky. I know it isn't quite the point of this shot, but I just like to have a point of focus in the shot.

With such a sun and lovely surroundings I wouldn't work anymore! ;-)

I use Photoshop CS. Give me some time to find my originals back. I love to take pictures but I hate tags & archives. I take a lot of pictures and I have tons of CDs and finding back the right picture is not always that easy. Anyway, they can't be that far away! ;-)

I would even want to ask you something else. I have a series about people living along the railway tracks. Those are perfect for monocrome.
Can I send you a few of those series in color and look how you would convert them? I did a few convertions and would love to get your opinion.
Suby & Sinem: We all wish we could do this all the time don't we? smile

WHAT!! You don't have a archive system? How do you manage your shots. Mine is labelled to the nines.

Yup send the imnages to me, looking forward to going all monochrome on them already smile

nice... although i find it a bit too busy.
Suby & Sinem: What another "civilian" stepping to the Subster? smile Busy? busy? & there I was thinking "if only there had been more people?" smile

The scene however works just fine with all the elements in it. Thats what makes it a complete shot (anyway thats my opinion). Been to a couple of art gallaries and you find out it's stuff like this that they hang up. So cause I am vain like that and want my pics displayed in a gallery, then I will become world famous, then I will be rich, then I will start my plans for world dominination, then.... (calm down Suby)
Oh well have to find a shot that makes Fumni happy smile Thanks for stopping by and please do visit again. Suby

Hey Suby! I just have a little question. How do you adjust the contrast in a photo like this -- that even when the sky on the frame, the foreground is not dark. Sometimes, its either the sky is too bright, or the foreground is very dark.
Suby & Sinem: It all about knowing how to use layers in photoshop, the day I mastered it, I really started to appreciate just how lovely CS2 can be, you have to know how to unlock the hidden power of channels. I will point you in the direction of the man who made it easy for me to fully understand CS2. SCOTT KELBY. I swear by the mans books bro. Go forth and seek all his books and marvel at just how easy it is to achieve the perfect editing tecniques. smile Suby

Suby & Sinem: Huh!! abd double huh!!! Did I miss something, Hold on lets check your site, maybe I may have vexed you with my candid critics....... So here I am sat wondering what the comments you've made are all about. I definitely know I have never come accross you in Cyprus. Hey bro, you need to take it easy. It is a choice to either pop in here or not. I thank you for your honest opinion but in the blog world, please learn NEVER to make your comments personal. Wish you the best and hope you will one day come back to my blog and start liking the Subster again. Suby

Suby, I think John meant he actually does like your work. When he said "sorry about the dishonest" I believe he is refering to him own statement which says he does not like you or your work. So it means, he does like your work and your blog. Its just a very funny way to say he is a fan of you.

Btw, LMAO stands for Laughing my ass off.

btw 2, I hope you dont think I'm a jerk for laughing sad. If he really does mean that he doesn't like you, then thats not funny at all, its not a nice thing to say.
that sky looks amazing thought it couldnt be the Uk for a second - like the self portrait on your last post too - didn't get a chance to comment tho - although I would have known what to say - haha - i think the ego was stroked by many peaople on the comments page - you did nt need another comment from me -

peace out suby - check you at your next post - thanks for the wonderful comments at my blog too - you too kind

Sorry Suby for wrong impression, but when I put "dishonest" at the end, I meant the opposite of proceeding comments, I enjoy your site, the photos and you seem like a personable and good natured person. I was reacting to the bolded message--"I want your honest feedback"--at the end of you comments and tried to play off that.
