Strong & Proud

Suby in the House

I'm back (okay sort of). Thanks all those that have continued to visit the blog while we where away and for all the kinds words left behind. We definitely had a wonderful time on the honeymoon. 1 week without the internet is as much as I think we could handle :)

We are currently trying to catch up on soo many things here, but I definitely had to get a post ready for tommorow. No more queue shots.

To all those who missed me, beware, no more duff shots to be posted up. I WILL go in for the kill. To all those who have been putting up some stonking shots, WELL DONE, love to see people improve. To all the newbies in shutterchance, WELCOME WELCOME, looking forward to commenting on your shots (tremble in fear newbies :) ), to MK-http://weddingphotog.shutterchance.com- darn I missed our spats.

This was taken on our holiday, we took a trip to Penrith to sight see and I came across this  lovely fella sat by the road side just about to cross. What caught my eyes at 1st was such a beautiful and strong looking dog,

I had started snapping when Sinem pointed out to me that it was missing one leg. Well the dog looked soo proud and strong that one did not notice any defects. I have decided to post up the colour and the black & white version, I am loving them both so ofcourse me going to share with you guys.

So what do you guys think? Have a look here at the origina shot.

Welcome back my friend! Glad to have both of you back! Subster, now that your back I will tear this photo up smile. This photo would have been really good, but its sooooo slim. Why!? The crop is just too much.

Can you please put up a not cropped shot?
Suby & Sinem: Reza man, thanks bro, see you have been keeping people on their toes. Good one. I had to crop out the unwanted elements in the shot. I actually only cropped slightly smile Maybe it's the stretch you do not like smile

Unfortunately bro, I will be away for some time still. My phone line is not working so hence no internet, BT coming out to fix on Thursday. Me in a friends place to queue a few images. The things I do for blogging.I really need to get my internet back, seen some lovely stononking shots on shutterchance lately and I need to big up them guys. (also neede to make some people weep for posting duff shots)

"1 week without the internet is as much as I think we could handle"

Is it "we", Suby, or just "you"? Was Sinem really that lost without the internet, or was she content to have you all to herself, without us wannabies seeking your attention?

Regarding the photo: I'm with Reza on this one. You had a good eye to recognize such a noble creature, but the crop isn't working. It makes the dog look really skinny, and a bit unwell. As for the two versions, I prefer the colour one because the dog has a beautiful coat and it is represented well in colour.

Feel free to drop by my site and carve me all you want! I always appreciate your very honest feedback.

Suby, i forgot to mention that the dogs face almost makes me want to cry. This looks like a Holocaust image, only of a dog. Even though I hate the crop as much as anything, I still love the fact that I want to be sad when I see the dog. I cant look at it more than a couple seconds. I will cry. This is wonderful!

beautiful dog....great look in his eyes, but i dont like the crop eather, think i would try to get rid of that object in the background, or make it lighter, i think it is kind of distracting.
I prefer the B&W .....cause since i looked at that one, the dog is in my head......

welcome back

Welcome back you two!!

Well Suby, I'm favoring the the color version. He's just too beautiful not to. (His coat is similar to my hair color in the summertime if I get out in the sun enough.)

Nicely presented. It's hard to choose a favorite version here, so I won't. I'm glad to hear the new fire in your belly. I can't wait to see what you produce. Kind regards, Brent

As a very emotional dog lover, with dogs of my own, this picture was really hurtful.lol.
the dog may look really strong and proud but i think wot comes across really strongly is actually bravery. look into the face of the dog and the look in its eyes-to some this might be all rubbish as in all that im saying but its true and real sad.but about the pic quite good n i agree about the crop. Anyways as usual ur pics never fail to jerk my emotions.xxx
