THE HANDS OF TIME

Sinem In the House.

Update: Sorry folks, our phone line is not working and British Telecom (BT) have advised they will come out and fix on Thursday. So forced to use the internet wherever we can.  Currently we are in a friends place begging to use the internet. The things we do for you guys :)

We promise to get blogging as soon as we can.

THE HANDS OF TIME

Stuck in between the hands of time, we crawl, we walk, we run. As 'tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace till the last syllable of recorded time,' ('Macbeth', William Shakespeare) we continue our journey from the womb to the tomb, all lighting the way to dusty death. We crawl, we walk, we run; we forget to stop and stare... only for a split second, we fail to stop and watch the world, the sun, the time go by, we forget to seize the day.

'But at my back I always hear, time's winged chariot hurrying near.'

Andrew Marvell, To His Coy Mistress

As you run from day to day, in this journey of life, do please at times stand and stare - seize the day. CARPE DIEM.

"Lost: Somewhere between sunrise and sunset. One golden hour laced with sixty diamond minutes. No reward is offered. It is lost forever."

Great shot. Love the angel and color.

Great perspective. Lovely tones.
Interesting. I'm not sure it fully works, but I like attempt. You're getting more distorted every day! wink Hopefully an influence of Sinem!

Regarding time: it really doesn't exist. Let's try to put a little more emphasis on relaxation. Tomorrow is just another day. Cheers, Brent
OK, I now know this is Sinem's shot. Glad to see the distortion! Maybe marriage has changed you both; up is now down; left is now right. I hope so. wink

Hey bro,

Glad to see you back. I was so busy this weekend I haven't had time to check out the blog. Just finished a job and had to upload the shots for review.
I'm liking this shot a lot. Sky has a little noise towards the upper right corner but could be just the web.
Hope your holiday was good.....

Nice shot, colors and theme. I do wish it wasn't as tilted though.

I think the angle is a little too much. Nice idea, but perhaps too extreme. A wider crop would probably make it look a little less goofy.

Oops, I hit submit too soon. I wanted to say that the detail and colour on the tower are excellent.

I love that quote from Macbeth. Great take on it. Though I'm not a big fan of tilting, I think the angle works here. Beautiful tones as well.
