Lone Ranger

Sinem In The House.

This photo was taken on a sightseeing tour to Penrith in Cumbria, North of England, during our honeymoon. As Suby is not the most courageous guys when it comes to anything that involves lifting your feet off the ground, including paragliding, bungee-jumping, and parachuting; when I told him I was climbing up to the top of the Roman castle we visited, he left me to it. This is one of the shots I took from the top. Suby patiently waiting - ssshhhh, he doesn't know that that's what he's destined to do for the rest of his life after having signed his life away. :)

LONE RANGER

Lone rangers we all are as we travel on the long, arduous, winding path of life. Without a a friend, a hand to hold, somewhere to lay our weary selves down and call 'home'. Lone travellers, we all are, on this journey of life, without a tune, a smile, a dream; like lost souls in purgatory, we seek our days' end. Without a shoulder to lean on, without a hand to hold in our hand, without a heart to call a 'home', we travel light, listless, 'lonely as a cloud'.

Till a lone ranger meets another... To have and to hold... In sickness and in health. I do not believe in a ring, a piece of paper, a certificate that tells you you are now someone's other half; it's your heart that tells you that you have found the perfect ranger in some other humanbeing to share your path with. I believe in marriage, in love, in making that journey with a friend, in growing old together.

I got a sense from reading comments a relatively short while ago, that you were fairly new to this game; that you had to beg, borrow or steal equipment to tentatively make your images and apologise for posting them.

Right now I think I'm looking at one of the best photographers here. You've learned quickly and you've learned well.
Good one, anyone mind telling me what 'kudos' means? am i missing something? i think i am..

Love the toning and the perspective. You guys are getting better every day! Wonderfully simple and very well framed shot. And yep: I guess, if Suby doesn't want to lift his feet off the ground, he will have to learn, how to wait patiently on the ground smile.

I have to go "aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwww!!" May the love you two share now grow stronger every day.

Love this shot, he's waiting so patiently. It speaks volumes that he didn't discourage you from climbing up even though he didn't want to himself. Suby, you're a good man. Sinem, your words were touching.

Great photo. You have the captured feeling that so many of us men have while while waiting for our wives whether they be shopping, skydiving or climbing towers. Love the words I am glad that the two of you have found the love you share.

I cant image how two photographers can go on honeymoon. Did either of you find the camera coming in between? Anyways I have not seen how Suby looks but its a good start.
Suby & Sinem: It was absolute bliss. me lucky that I have found a woman who shares me passion of photography smile

Suby smile
Thanks for the suggestion Sinem. Actaully I dont think it would be a crazy crop, rather I think of it more as an "alternative" crop. So expect an updated version of the photo later.
