Calamity Jane - Naija Style

Suby/Sinem In the House

Confused? Not to worry, I tooks the shot (obviously) and Sinem did the editing :)

We been taking ourselves way too serious in here, here is check from Calamity Jane, She says, "Chill, have fun, don't take yourselves too serious, or I just might come on over and bust a cap in you" :)

Current Read - " Photoshop CS2 100 Simplified Tips & Tricks by Lynette Kent".

Looking like a REAL MADAM!!!
Suby & Sinem: It's all a matter of cash smile
Like the intensity of the stare...Nice pic
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bro, want comments, WANT honest feedback, wanna improve want to get answers to your questions? GO RED SHHS
Suby.
P.s
I and most guys will tend to leave more comments when the red shhs mode is on. Too many people blog, so commenting on the greeneys and yellows a little pointless in my book.

hi suby,

i love this picture. it is well composed and the subject is interesting, engaging. it looks more polished and professional than your last couple of posts.

-laura
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Laura, ouch so does that mean you did not like my last few shots or they where not professional enough? sad
Suby

Like to see you dig yourself out of that hole smile
wow great photo Suby!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks bro smileSuby
Love the American "OLD WEST" feel. Looks like one of those dress up amusement park shots with a different spin. Ya know what I mean? I like itsmile
Suby & Sinem: Hey, Matt, thanks. That was exactly the look I was going for with the editing. Great minds...? Sinem

a very good partnership on this shot
Suby & Sinem: Indeed it is, and a good partnership FOR LIFE! thanks. Sinem
Excellent portrait with deep piercing & penetrating eyes that seem to follow. Nice work
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Neil, she is staring straight at you smile

i really dig this shot. while the eyes burrow into you, you can't help but wondering, "what is she thinking?" the sepia tone works really well. did you add noise to the shot?
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Nicole, The kudos for the editing goes to Sinem, not sure if she did, have to ask her (unless I went behind her back and added noise smile ) Can't remember. tongue

I like this a lot. Great shot, sensitive and effective editing, and you allowed the beauty of the model to shine through loud and clear (as you know that's something I wasn't happy with on a previous shot)! Great pose, wonderful way the different patterns of the fabrics are woven into the picture!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Petra, really glad this shot is liked. It's the model tongue

Now who tied this? Im thinking its Sinem this time. No offence smile
Suby & Sinem: Nope, an Aunty of mine smile No worries she will learn soon, with the amount of natives she is planning to have, she has no choice tongue

Oh, this is perfect!! Nice tone, that was a good choice.

I see you're on to another book, got through the last one fairly quickly. More knowledge into Suby's head!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Micki, The tone/editing was all Sinems choice, she gets the Kudos smile

I actually have about 5-6 books I am reading all on the go, the more knowledge I get the better tongue

The both did your part pretty well, very well captured and edited.
Loving the tone especially.
If you were commenting here you would be : "Why in god's name did you cut off the top of that hat!" but meh I don't mind, you should.
Overall, oldish feel, good for me.
GREAT GREAT SHOT!!!

I like this because it reminds me of the old pictures that I used to see of my grandparents (the finishing, not Sinem obviously!) By the way, I'm pretty sure this is Sinem's 'don't mess with me Subomi' look. I've seen it too many times not to recongnise it ... trust me, you all would look like that if you were married to Suby too! (Only joking, favourite cousin!)
Suby & Sinem: Ouch "used to be my favourite Cuz" sad

We where just fooling around and I wanted her to look "fierce" and she came up with this look smile Now you have just put yourself in it, watch out for the shot of you going up smile

I love the photo, I feel like there is too much grain though, maybe that's just me. Fantastic expression.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Faustina, maybe it will grow more on you. smile The grain I mean.

Very nice. It's one of those that you want to stare at for awhile. I like the post-processing. It gives a classical feel to the image.
