Suby In The House

IWow, I am absolutely blown away. I need to firstly thank everyone that commented (and visited) on my post yesterday. It did get  a wide variety of thoughts, comments and very good constructive arguments( I hope BeakerSt  will still continue to comment on my blog).

Here is the whole scene, was your guess spot on? ( a few where). What do you now think of the scene? Was the baby actually left there? Yes, for how long? All of about 3 minutes. Where were his parents? Getting the other kids ready to go on a horse ride.

The absurdity of the scene was what attracted me to the shot, also I had to be very careful snapping as it is not polite to take pictures of kids without the parents permission, I only took this cause her face was covered.

That is actually a shere drop behind him, but I guess his buggy locks where on, the horse was a little to close for comfort for me, and there where about 15 other horses to the side of me. I thought it was not safe to leave a kid here and in all that filth and had to signal one of the workers there for them to act, which was done immediately, something to do with Health & Safety was muttered :)

Please do take your time to also read policyofsubster it is aimed at helping bloggers progress, it is aimed at helping bloggers generate real and hopefully fun comments on their bloggs. It's all about having fun, not about finding flaws in images.

As always from the Subster (& once again), Thank You for once again visiting this corner of cyberspace. We all live  busy lives, and I appreciate you taking a little bit of your time to think about visiting. All have a fun day.

Erm did you compose this shot? Firstly the title is funny!!Secondly i like how it looks like a painting well done!!
i really, really like this picture. it does look like a painting. it is funny how out of place the baby looks. i definately prefer yesterday's shot of the baby stroller. however, i really like this shot, just not in comparison to yesterday's.

I'm feeling very intellegent. I guessed it exactly right! I'm glad you captured this scene because it is very funny.

As far as the photo is concerned, I like it. The colours are great, and I really like the rolling hills in the background. However, I must question your cropping decision. I actually like the fact that you kept the horse's head out of the frame; this seems to draw more attention to its rear end. However, because you left so much space on the left side of the stroller, the photo appears unballanced. I wonder if it might be better if you had cropped it much tighter on the left side.

The title is perfect, by the way. Also, in this context, the kid's face being covered really adds to the feeling of neglect. Great stuff Suby!

This is much better! I still think yesterday's shot was rather pointless apart from your guessing game thingie. Anyway, I think if you could have shown the drop you were describing, it would help illustrate the situation better. smile

Parenting 101. lol

I'm sure the baby is ok, right? The S Man is always around..not superman, Subyman.

Suby, this photo is over processed. The first thing I looked at was that horses behind and thought, wooooow, look at the gaussian blur.

Good shot though. Lots of stuff to look at in the photo, very good.

So, Yesterday, we had an image, that asside from the noise I quite liked, I thought it was well done... Then we pull out to reveal that you cropped it out of what, to be perfectly honest, looks like a snapshot... Sorry Suby, I'm just not feeling this one...

-V V-
Suby & Sinem: They are actually 2 different images, Apart from the conversion to monochrome and addition of noise on yesterdays shot & slight G blur on this, no other PP done tongue When I was taking the shot was already thinking of how I would use it. Oh well, you liking one out of 2 shots is more than okay with me smile

Don't really like cropping my shots in photoshop, I like to get it right when the camera is in my hand, photoshop is used only for fancy fun tongue
This is a fun shot, but the parents need a good talking to smile

Don't know which I like better yesterdays or todays, I visited yesterday but didn't comment. This one is sort of cooler, has more of an impact with the half horse in it makes us wonder if the mother is out of the frame of the photo.
GREAT GREAT SHOT!!! very nice one.

Definitely prefer that I can tell the story with this one
Well, an everydays snapshot. Ok, it´s funny that the babys head is coverd like a birds cage (to calm the birds).
Suby & Sinem: Karl everyday snap shot???? WHAT!!! (Suby hopping up and down here with indignation tongue) I challenge you to produce a shot like this from anywhere. Everyday snap shot???? These puny humanssss... (having an artist strop here tongue)
I really love this one, recognize the baby ;-p wich was in B&W mode !
haha, thats actually quite funny...At first glance i didnt think much of the shot..But after looking at it again, i quite like it...Would have liked it better if the whole horse on the right was in frame??
LMAO!!!! SO this is what the debate was all about? So why put up the first shot in the first place?

A little negligent on the part of the parents, especially if they were both there. Still, these things happen when you're trying to take care of a bunch of excited kids and get everything organized. They'd probably been here before and felt a little too familiar and comfortable with the surroundings.

Great shot and colours.
Suby on a horse? Paul makes me laugh. I can just envision thatgrin I won't bother to comment on this one because it more to demonstrate the context of yesterdays shot. I am still appalled at the carelessness of the parents.

Yes, you've got to be careful, especially if you are a guy. Parents will think you want to kidnap their child. I totally agree with you on comments.
WoW...........and I thought i was a bad mum - kicked my cat out in the middle of the night {wanted to play when i wanted to sleep}- I felt horrible!!......but now I feel great!!!
