Sinem/Suby In The House

See  policyofsubster

Thank you all those who took the time to comment yesterday. Really appreciated. There was actually ony 1 non HDR shot in the series and that was "Littlle Miss".

So I was able to pull it off, drape the wool over your eyes, mask the truth, etc etc etc lol

I really enjoyed doing that series and thanks to all you lovely people, I have taken another giant step in my development. Thanks as always for visiting and dropping your comment. They mean a lot to the Subster.

The image above is of Jazz, taken by Sinem a few weeks ago. Could not think of an appropriate title, care to help folks?

Processing - Convertion to JPEG from RAW. Convertion to monochrome using channel mixer, addition of depth and colour tones using the channels (red, green & blue) with curves tool.

Photography by Sinem, Words/Editing by Suby

P.s
Want more monochrome shots from you smile
You know they say cats sleep an average 17 hours a day. It looks like you caught him after 6 hours into deep sleep!

Nice shot, one of your best for me.
Suby & Sinem: I think this one actually does about 20hrs Bro, The most chilled cat you will ever meet, sleeps anywhere and everywhere smile
Suby
And yeah I knew this was Sinem's shot. I can't see Suby doing something like this. Not interesting enough. I personally like these sorts though. Sorry Subs!

Awwww...Mrow! I think Jazz looks very unaffected by the camera being in her/his face. Must be completely used to it by now. Nice shot of a very pretty kitty.
Suby & Sinem: He way too used to it smile

You know what Jazz means in Nigeria right, and what black cats are depicted as? I think the name is appropriate for this shot lol.
Suby & Sinem: Yep we made the connection, nobody wants to come to my house once they hear we have a black cat tongue

Nicely shot, nicely processed. GREAT GREAT SHOT!!! No suggestions really, though green toning is sort of odd.

Title?
How about:
" Im Lonely "
" I need companionship "
" If only I had friends... "
" Suby is cheap... "
" Im so bored, if only there was someone to play with other than looking into camera lenses... "
" Cats need friends too "
" Two cats, double the love "
" Laziness dissapears, when friends appear "
" Lonely "
" Three is a crowd, two is company, one is murderous "

I've got more but I think you get the point.
Suby & Sinem: Nope does not work, no second cat in this household tongue

Good try though
Suby
Pretty cat
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bret smile

Hi Suby,

sorry i havn't been able to reply your e-mail. Yahoo!'s really messing up - i can't seem to send out mail and it takes ages to view them (though i think the problem's with my office's ISP). Thanks a lot for the feedback and the advice. they'll sure come in handy when i upgrade my PP software from Picasa. You guys have been such stars. I'm really touched.

About the subject. I already told in one of my e-mails (which you've most likely deleted wink, but since it's causing such a furore - i think i'll keep her identity a secret smile. Any appications for a photo session with Miss X must come through me.

How's Sinem these days(I see Jazz is doing alright)? Summer's almost over - only about a month before the school session starts. shame. Anyways, my regards to the luvly lady. Gotta run now. Take care.

Morenike.

P.S. I'll send you a "Skeed"-up version of one of the pics as soon as the problem with the ISP's fixed. I'm glad to say that mr. skee's version definitely puts my work to shame.

Hey there! Thanks for the feedback. It is appreciated. I will work on burning those blown out areas. I don't think I paid much attention to it until now, and now that I notice it, it's bothering me! ha ha! You have a great shot here yourself. Cats are great. Kind of a dumb title but I look at the look on his face and I think "Yeah...you wish you were this cool." ha ha. He just has that mellow cool cat kind of look to him ! Anyways great photograph. I enjoy the fact that his head isn't dead in the center. Good use of the rule of thirds. smile
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Whitney, good luck with the burning tongue
