A Simple Street Scene

Sinem In The House

See  policyofsubster

Another shot from Sinem.  This is just a simple every day scene from the streets. You have people going about their buisness within the backdrop of 2 (okay 1.2ish) buildings.

I like this image because of the pockets of people in it and the way the buildings are framed.  Added a tiny bit of grain and the colour tone to give it a little bit of old feel.

Hope you are all having a lovely and wonderful Sunday. Thanks for visiting as always.

Hi Suby

it is a nice shot you posted, and the work you did on it to make it look a bit old is nice.
i especially like the couple in the front, the facial expression give the whole picture a beautiful liveliness.

Tell Sinem that I like the catch of the moment he/she?? Got.

Have a great Sunday

Suby & Sinem: Thanks Diya, will pass on the message.

I like the perspective, but not sure about the building on the right side... would rather see more of it or not see it at all.
I can't open the "policyofsubster" website. It always go to "page not found", "can't find server". Any idea?
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ana, Hope the link I sent you works tongue

Suby

Greetings! Firstly, Thanks for the comment: it's always appreciated. Secondly: I love the tone of this shot, but not sure about the sky: a bit noisey? If that's the added 'grain', I reckon it's better without it?
Suby & Sinem: Yep it is the added grain, thout it gave it that unique ooold feel tongue Thanks for stopping by and please do come back for another visit.

Hey Suby & Sinem. As you have already figured out, I'm back. I like this one a lot. I really like the way the top half of the photo is a bit dark and the bottom half seems much brighter. The composition is good and the processing is suitable. That woman is making a very funny face though. Is she frowning at Sinem?
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Timmy, welcome back from your quick gateaway, looking forward to your commentgs tongue Yo keep the Subster on his toes always. The woman does crack me up as well tongue
Suby
i like this frame.. its probably helped by the processing since the gradient helps the eyes focus on the people and detract the attention from the building which an intrinsicly complex structure. yet a lovely sense of perspective... i am not too sure about the grain but overall a very nice work

Nice effect you achieved in this one. You gave a bit of "character" to a picture that might have been a bit dull otherwise.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Sidney, I agree with you tongue

I really like the grain at the top and the 'matrix' feel to it. 8 out of 10
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Christian, Hope you had a good shoot at the wedding tongue

a very good 'everyday action shot' if ever there was one wink
to me, the main building is bizarre; seems to warp & buckle & stuff .. odd!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Mr C, You have a lovely week.
Suby
the people make this shot
Suby & Sinem: I agree with you 100%

Now I like tihs, the gradiating (huh?) brightness grin Not simply by far dummy, one intricate scene made pleasing to the eye by some mighty fine processing. Lovely shot.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Azhar, You have a wicked week.

Now I too like the processing here, since it gives it an old WWII era sort of feel.
Suby & Sinem: I agree with you on that, glad I was able to pull off that old feel.

Sin,

Another excelent shot... Great creative flair, it's has a classic street scene sorta feel.. Almost like we are back in the days of old... only with modern pedestrians.

I especially like the woman in the bottom right.. look at her face... Looks to me like she was upset at something, the guy walking with her has that sort of "why did i get myself into this" look... Ah the happy couple...

Suby & Sinem: Her facial expression really does make the shot. Thanks for stopping by.

Good cityscape, Did you use gradient filter here? Was it necessary? I like the liveliness of the street and details on the buildings. good perspective. Not sure about the color, but contrast is awesome here, good old feeling.

Very classy. I quite like the arches in the building and the bustling people below. The post-processing looks great. The absence of color makes the photo look timeless. I'm not big on the graduated tint on the top because it distracts me. Still great image on whole, especially with the expression of the woman in the foreground.
