"DarK" Child Series.

Sat in the limo on the way from the church to the reception, too many people in the limo, not enough room to accommodate the Subster's huge bulk. Not enough room in limo to manouver to really take any good pictures, but as sure as there is a Lord up there smiling at me, he presents me with this shot just begging to be taken.

I really love this shot, cutest little one ever, she looks like she is lifting the world effortlessly. Apologies about the forehead bottom left, cropping this shot any tighter would have lost it's charm and left the image inbalanced. I also feel it gives us a point of focus as to what she is looking at, in this case, her cute looking brother.

Suby & Sinem: Funny thing is the more I look at this image, the more it seems to work, oh well maybe it's cause I want it to work smile

Another nice child picture. It would have been perfect without the head of her brother... (sorry) ;-)
Suby & Sinem: Thanks bro, smile

Sheesh! Those brothers do get in the way don't they! (I have 3 and they were always messing things up!)

Love the shot it is adorable.
Suby & Sinem: Yeah thats brothers for you, hence me wanting 3 girls to pamper the Subster in his old age grin

Cute kid, bit the picture on a whole doesn't work for me. Focus is on the girl's bracelet for a start

Composition is ok but nothing special.

You did very very well with the environmental constrains that you had though.
Suby & Sinem: The Skeeeellloooooo, waaaazzzzuuuppppp?

Funny you poinyt that out, set my AF point to the shot before to that angle when this shot was duly presented to me, choices, change AF pont in less than 3 secs and loose chance of shot or take shot immediately, guess which I took smile

Suby, you've done it again! First, you were able to capture a great moment in a difficult situation, and then you took that image and turned it into something spectacular! She is clearly the center of focus and the dark look is quite flattering. I think you're correct about leaving her brother in the scene as well.

She looks like she could give him a hard time if she wants to.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Micki, she sure is a lovely looking kid, she has got an equally cute little sister. Me kids must look this cute I guess they definitely have to take after Sinem in that case LOL grin

She's so pretty...and she does look like she's holding the world up or the car at the very least. I wish I had your eye for this kind of thing.
Suby & Sinem: I bet you do, all you need is a camera and those lovely eyes the big guy up there has provided and a tad bit of imagination, the rest is easy smile
Thanks for the comment.

Yeah but don't shoot the little girl. You are genius! There's dark all around her and she's being so so brave. Just don't don't shoot her bcs she might not be able to hold on for long, although it looks as if she's putting all her efforts on it.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks love, you definitely should visit more often, not every day the word genuis and Suby are used in the same sentence grin

Suby
Very nice. I like it.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Deji,

Suby

A fine informal shot of a great looking youngster. The head in the way is one of our hazards in this shooting business. You were right to leave it cropped as is. Looks good!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Don, please do visit again.

I actually like the soft focus of the entire photo but like skee mentioned the sharpness of the bracelet is sort of distracting. I like the compostiion and until I read your words I was wondering what she was lifting, and it looked heavy.
Suby & Sinem: I actually thought of tonning it down durring PPing but deciced to leave it as is smile

Suby
Lifting the world is the first thought I had too and by her confident expression she is quite capable of keeping it afloat. I like it.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Jason, glad you like.

Suby
Hey Suby,

backkkkkk.....hhmmm bout the pic, im not quite sure bout it...still deciding..hhhmmmmm
Suby & Sinem: Decide now, decide now, decide now, decide now and you had better like it or I will throw a proper hissy fit grin :grin

I seldom write comments on your photoblog, but I seldom find a picture that is not very good on it ! smile
This one is perfect too. I like the way the hands of the little girl disapear in the shadow.
She could be a super hero lanching a car on bad bad people ! smile

I'm glad you mentioned the cranium in the bottom corner. It's the only thing I don't like about this photo. Again, the "Dark" theme works very well with this composition. That little girl is very cute, and you have captured a great moment.
Very expressive girl.... Nice framing!

Very nice shot ! I agree with the reason for not going for a more tighter crop !
