"Dark" Child Series III

Suby In The House

See  policyofsubster

I love capturing the innocence of kids. Most kids are always happy to pose for me when they see the huge man with the even bigger camera  coming their way. I took this shot about 20:00hrs a few nights ago. I was taking some pictures of the Ganesh festival by the lake and these 2 where looking my way, had me telephoto lens in place and snap snap, a gem was captured.

I particularly love the smile and giggles they gave me when I showed them the shots I had taken (made my day), I took it to mean they really liked the pictures as they kept on coming back to me to take more pictures.

For me the most important thing to view are the faces of these little angels, the expressions, the gaze into the camera cannot but make you want to be an innocent child once again.

yay I'm first to post. Actually I was going to leave a comment for the last one. But this I reallay like. The best I think of the series. Really loving the contrast although perhaps the one smiling should be the one if focus.. or perhaps both..
What a lovely photo! Children are always nice to photograph. Though I think you could've used a diffuser on the flash.
I like the framing.

Great composition. I like the DOF (the focused child in front and the blurred child in the background). Creative.
Nice looking kids.
What I don't like is the small circles (in the background) kid's eyes. I would have PS this out.
I like your way of portraying! This is an interesting picture !!!

This is an interesting series; at least you have a series - mine are all over the place.

Of them all so far, this is my least favourite but I'm struggling to say why. It was just a first impression. I thinlk perhaps it's the "bittiness" of it. There are bits of light looking like white fluff all over the place that I find distracting: in and around the eyes and mouth, the ears and a spec on the cheek to name but a few.

Least favourite doesn't mean I don't like it though. I think it's a tremendous shot. It's just that for me, the others are tremndouser!

You have captured the magic of childhood with this shot! The bright highlights of the younger one in the foreground are delightful, and the shine in the older girl's eyes is perfect!

I like it, but the depth of field bugs me. Why not bump up the ISO and buy yourself a few more f/stops? I know, I know, the Subster likes it just the way it is. It's his artistic flare. Okay, if you say so.

The kids certainly are cute. That girl is giving you a fantastic smile. I just wish it was in focus, that's all.
Suby & Sinem: High ISO? Me sturbbon on that count, me like it low, me like it dark grin
