"Dark" Child Series IV

Suby In The House

See  policyofsubster

The "Dark" Child Series continues. There I am, practically on the floor trying to get a totally different shot when "little man Tate" here plumps his cute face in front of my camera. Coupled with the look and the crouch, I notice that the sign behind actually writes "play here" in bold letters.

Okay does this just not confirm that the big guy in the sky smiles down at me when taking snaps as I could not have scripted this any better than fate did. Of course, snap, snap snap and snap later. I have this absolute gem.  I am so loving "little man Tate's" look. He was not looking at the camera here (I have that image as well those wondering) which makes me love the shot even more.

I really hope you guys are enjoying this series, thanks as usual to those who take time out of their busy lives to visit this corner of cyber space. It is very much appreciated by Sinem & I.

Aww hes a cutey. Nice composition Suby
One of the best shots I've seen from the subster.
Just seen Skee's comment and yup I agree. I think we've been patiently waiting to see you put up something that we can really really rate.

Suby this is the best from this series. The look is one that you used to see in formal portraits. When i was little this was a common pose. Not the squatting but the head up looking off camera. Somewhere in there we went for looking straight down the barrel and more relaxed type sittings. I think what you have captured is a mix of the best of old and new. When you think of it with all the pp'ing we are doing it is returning to old hand colouring of photos. maybe a slighter crop at top to remove the building. what say you.

Not only have you been blessed with some great photo opportunities that you were able to take advantage of and process so well afterwards; but I have been so charmed at how these children are drawn to you. Your sweet nature must really shine. You know what they say, if the dog or the kid likes the person, then you can trust them.

defenatly my favorite so far Suby....
The angle works so very well here...the little man looks so little this way...uhm get my point?? poor english huh?
The smiling man in the background ads a lot to this shot
Also excellent PP..smile
what a shot... hope it was a natural for its spontanaity. Once saw a great 1950's picture by ruth orkin and thought it was great, and then found out it was posed... this is really great and with the signs in back... as I said before to someone else...ole.

What a fortunate happenstance. He looks great...as does the picture.
This is such a cool shot. Seems like everyone is watching him in amusement. The expressions on the face are worth a million

Wow, something scares my about this one. The boy is cute, but he almost looks not real. The low colors also add a sense of strangeness in the atmosphere.
