UK Matty & his Mate

Sin's in the House.

I've been on the computer for two hours now. looking over some old stuff as I haven't gone out shooting in a long time. Reports, essays, meetings; but alas, one more week till half-term. I do promise to visit as many blogs and post as many photos as I can in those seven precious days.

For now... a lil somethin somethin from April '06 - UK Matty and his mate... To show you that as yobbish and as thuggish they want to look, there is stil that sheepish smile that lightens up their youthful faces when they see a camera point at them and a stranger asking them to pose.

To guys in London - do as it says in those MK adverts spread over your broadsheet papers every weekend: this weekend, for a change, GO MK. Our thugs don't mug you for your mobile or your five quid; they don their hoods and strike a pose instead! All you need to warm up on a cold autumn day...

Both of these shots are really excellent. Fantastic black and white images. I like the other one a bit better for it's unique perspective, but again, they are both fantastic! Bravo!

The kid with the scarf over his face makes the image quite intriguing. Why did he do that?

Looked at the other, both are great! You really have captured something special. I favor this one, as it's a little more endearing.

I'm on a break right now, and although I'm not getting all done that I wanted to, I am enjoying the respite from the daily "school work" routine.

Hi Suby, like the body postures in this image so cool.
Great reward for asking them to pose and good low angle. Well done.
It's got a gangster feel to it. Nicely done.
