Suby In The House

See  policyofsubster

This shot is from a shoot I did on Wednesday, another lovely Model for me to work with (am I lucky or what?). We did take some crazy and lovely images during the shoot, will post some up for you guys during the series. I absolutely loved her look, so editorial, she is just coming off a front page spread for a magazine so I felt I had to ensure my images of her could stand up to the muster, I hope I achieved it with this image.

I promised robin  a sorta "retro" colour magazine shot, here it is, all done with the beautiful power of the curve tool.  This shot was taken just besides my garage. I am able to get away with shooting "on location" for now but as winter approaches, have to start retreating into the confines of a studio soon. Now here lies the dilhema, "Suby got NO studio equipement"

GOD, WILL THE SPENDING NEVER END?

So over the next few weeks, need to from somewhere in this world, galaxy or universe (maybe my lottey ticket will finally come through, LOL), come up with the dough to not only buy some studio equipement, but also find some dough for that dreamy Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II that will be mine one day soon (he wishes).  Once I get this camera, which will be for location shoots, then I can start day dreaming of a Hasselblad H3D solely for the fashion & studio shoots (yes I know, I am a dreamer)

P.s

Anyone looking for the services of Suby as a Photographer, you know what to do..... (email, call me in case some are wondering what. LOL)

Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bro, glad you like this shot grin She was such a lovely model to work with, made my job all that easier grin

Suby
nice subject and particularly pp. it looks like almost a painting.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks, seems to be going down a storm.

Suby
hey suby,

i really like this shot a lot! i love the pping, tone and coloring. furthermore, her expression matches the atmosphere perfectly. i think that the fence and the red thing in the far background add a perfect touch to the shot.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Nicole, red thing is one of my neighbours house walls smile

Hi Suby. This one has a pretty cool cross-processed feel which I like. It seems slightly over-sharpened, but that may just be my eyes and not your skills smile My first thought when seeing this picture however was that I was looking at "the girl with the blue belly". I realise that by brightening that area it will draw attention from her eyes and face, but somehow I can't take her eyes off her belly anymore.

BTW, I can see that you have the same equipment on your wish list as I do. I don't do the lottery, but my mum does and she has promised me every weekend for years that when she wins on Saturday I can have the system of my choice. Needless to say I'm still waiting but I try to stay positive. I hope your luck is better than mine smile
Suby & Sinem: Hope my luck hits, but gotta start buying the lottery tickets 1st grin Ovewsharpened? It definitely is your eyes grin

Suby
I like the cross processed look but I find the pink behind her head very distracting.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks bro, absolutely nothing I could do about the house behind her LOL grin
Great work, Suby. This is really professional and the colours. Fab piece of photography.
Suby & Sinem: Thnaks Morenike, wish all my shots went down this way grin

Keep dreaming, Suby and keep dreaming big! That, believing in those big dreams, and hard work are how we make it in this world. Oh, and the lottery ticket wouldn't hurt, eh?

Love her captivating eyes in this shot!!
Suby & Sinem: Me dreaming, me dreaming grin Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Stop worrying about the kit you haven't got. this is a really nice image, I likey wink ...Probably a bit too surreal for a front page of a glossy magazine but I prefer that.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Jamey, an I Likey for me, awwww smile

Do you need an assistant photographer to carry your equipment?
I am a candidate!
Fantastic model but it would be unfair to judge the results solely on her beauty!
You did an outstanding job in capturing her beauty! 10/10
Suby & Sinem: Aaawwww, thanks Sidney :d

Suby
Great capture Suby - The model does the pic justice! smile K
Suby & Sinem: She sure does, an amazing model in my books.

Suby
Very nice my friend. Good colors, and good PS'ing. Wish that pole or whatever wasn't behind her on the right. Then the fence would look more simetrical (sp?). But it's a great shot.
Suby & Sinem: Thats part of the wiring i THINK, Thanks for the comments bro, where you hiding?
