THESE STREETS (THROUGH THE WINDSHIELDS)

where'd the days go? When all we did was play
And the stress that we were under wasn't stress at all
just a run and a jump into a harmless fall from
walking by a high-rise to a landmark square
you see millions of people with millions of cares
And I struggle to the train to make my way home
I look at the people as they sit there alone.'

Paolo Nutini- These Streets ...

On the wealthy side of town, you see glitz and gloss and huge glass shop windows as women walk by with their bags from chic boutiques, exclusively exorbitant department stores and designer shops. They swan past your with grace and glamour, looking as if they have just walked out of a travel guide on London, or an exclusive hair salon in the fashionable part of town.

The side of town you see on glossy mags, guide books, travel brochure.

The side of town where the streets are always clean, the cars are always top of the range, and the women are glamorous and elegant and walk with a sway in their hips.

The side of town where living is easy and everyone wants to live in.

Suby, I believe that in this you have been able to give more life to the photography and to the scene, when increasing the light and the clarity.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks, Jose-Angel, this is Sinem actually, not Suby.
Cool street shot Sinem. The grass is always greener especially on that side though

Awesome work, Sin! Of course, being from the states, I also noticed that double decker bus! From the looks of these women, they are just warming up their credit cards...they've got energy left to burn and money left to spend.

That car to the left of the bus must then be a top of the range Ka! grin

Another well worked street shot, Sinem. Don't allow Suby in too quickly, hey?

Living is easy? Not so sure about that...I think many of them fill their lives with finer things but are rather empty just the same.

Nice candid.

not as appealing as your other street shots sinem....like what you have written though
this is a great candid shot !
Hi Sinem. I personally don't enjoy people like this, they stick their noses in the air and will not dirty their hands on the likes of us mere mortals. I do however like the photograph and the work you have done on it, great DOF and lighting. Many regards, Neil.
