Sinem In The House

AROUND THE BEND

There are times in life we feel like all we do is sit and wait... wait for the train, wait for a lift, wait for the answers to life's bigger questions, wait for the next journey ahead. Sometimes the wait is good fr us. Until the next lift, or the next day. Watch the world go by from the side of the road, or the sidelines of the crazy rush of the world, take a break from the rat race. Stand and stare. Until the next ride.

there is a real atmosphere to the image Sinem, I really like this! This image should be printed and hung on your wall somewhere! Mal

Bollocks, not feeling it. Good red expression, feeling that! Suby Doo, if you are going to put someone's work down, at least explain why you do not like it, & how they can improve on it! It is called constructive criticism, not destructive criticism (if you have nothing good to say then keep it to yourself).

Yours,
Tony Q. Blair
Suby & Sinem: And here lies one of the reasons I don't actually comment on blogs that much any more. Tell your honest thought and you get abuse. I see an image, I don't really feel the image... PLEASE DOES THAT MEAN I ALWAYS HAVE A WAY OR IDEA OF IMPROVING THE IMAGE????

No No & NO. If I did I would have said so (Like Duhhhhh!!!!).

But I looked at the image and "DID NOT FEEL IT" (I happen to know which image this comment is referring to as I have only "felt" one image and said so in a while) Means it did not appeal to me but may apeal to others. Gezz I really am angry, must I like every image I see, or must I have an opinion on how every image I don't feel can be improved? If I remember, I did even apologise for not feeling the image.

Next time, extend the simple courtesy I have done when visiting your blog and leaving your name and web address, I welcome a healthy debate and I do like people to challenge me and ask me why I may not like an image or why indeed I like it, but I really do not appreciate any form of disrespect here.

Well as I said here lies another reason why I do not comment much on peoples blogs no more. People who want to have the ego stroked at every opportunity, geeezz, I DID NOT FEEL THE IMAGE (still don't) AND STILL DON'T KNOW WHY and I make NO APOLOGIES FOR THAT COMMENT.

Nice! I have been trying to get a pleasing shot of bare branches for a while now. This gives me a good idea what to shoot for.

Impressive tree !
At my age I don't dare to wait in life anymore... I am too scared the next stop might be my coffin. So I prefer to keep going... ;-)
Dancing tree? I am liking the color work better. Subtle muted colors, grays and earth tones. It is a good shot but it can't compete with yourprevious posts.

Compositionally this is much stronger to me than previous shots. The the angle of the road balances the drama of the tree and the little sign adds a bit of interest and stops the viewer's eye being taken out of the frame.
