AROUND THE BEND

AROUND THE BEND

Around the bend there will always be a house, whether it's of God or human is of no consequence. What matters is early in the morning, late at night, through the mist, the rain, and the slant of winter light, there will always be a warm house to let you in... around the bend.

So quintessentially English! It's like you've gone back in time.

I hope that always to be true, because believing so is a comfort. Love the way you framed this shot with the overhanging tree branches.
Beautiful. This location reminds me of the Princeton University campus.

Lovely shot. The fog really adds to teh atmosphere and I particularly like that the road curves. It draws the eye into the shot more dynamically than if the road were straight.
Another nice shot. It looks a little bit tilted to the right, but I think that may be the curve in the road. But the trees look crooked too. Not that could be the slope of the land, but it's disturbing to my eye. Love the shot though, and the whole series.....great stuff.

nice colour tones suby. i like the angle you took with this shot. do you know the name of that church?
Very nice how you balanced the top of the frame with the tree branches rather than have an empty sky.. I see you're using one of my tricks to keep a frame full smile
Love it !
