hmmmmmm............. i don't think u needed to change the background so much to emphasize the camera phone. it doesn't add anything in my opinion
nice processing.
genial idea Suby!
If Gordon Parks had a cell phone this is what he might have captures. Nice image.
That's what I'm talking about bro.....nice to see you back on top. Hope you guys have a good week.
I like this idea but as others mentioned I'd like to see more of the background color.

I like the select colouring, but not too sure of the low contrast and mid-tones. But I still like the idea smile
Hello Suby and Sinem, perhaps a little dark but it's a double-edged sword. Make the overall photograph lighter, and you risk losing the impact of the phone's picture. However, one could argue that society pays more attention to technology than to our cultural background, no? Furthermore, the focus is on the phone & hand not so much the background, so your idea has worked extremely well, in my opinion. Once the reader is driven to the phone's image, then s/he is turned to the eyes of the children - which is a clear image anyways... Lastly, having the background a little lighter wouldn't add more, or less to the photograph, just makes the trip to the phone a little slower... Although, I probably would crop the sides a little to position the phone in centre frame, and to invite the reader closer to kids and phone. A great photograph to post up guys. smile

Wow, haven't been here for quite some time. I really need to catch up on your work, and get familiar with sin's too.
I agree, the background might be a tad too dark, but otherwise the grainy feel would not stand out as much as it does. Very original processing and treatment. I dig it.
