Suby In The House

I love making my images as life like as I can possibly make them, I am finding out these days i am doing way way less PP on my images. I run the image through Adobe Lightroom, and little bit of tonal correction, sharpening or removal of any blemishes in CS2 and thats it these days.

Amazing how methods and viewpoints change. A couple of months back,I wouldn't touch it, now I love it and you are going the opposite way. Very nice photo indeed Subster, lovely lighting and all the rest of it. Glad you kept her hands away this time tongue Many regards to you and the "boss", Neil.
Suby & Sinem: LOL, thanks Neil, hope you and yours are having a lovely weekend.

Suby
Like Neil I too have changed and as you know maybe better then the rest here how I use to hate pp stuff. That has now changed and I understand what's needed for the paid ranks of shooters so with that said, very well done my brother.
Suby & Sinem: Well, now whastever work the client needs done PP wise I can deliver, now it's really back to learning expanding on my basic knowledge of lighting smile

It is that mark ii - ever since you posted the first pic from your mk ii - I could see the difference. This pic is excellent.

I have read your wondering, wondering, wondering of yesterday. Don't wonder what if, just live. Be alive, continue. If you succeed, the wondering didn't help and if you fail it didn't help as well.

For the breakthrough consider different genre's. Where are the most pictures used currently. No idea, but I bet it would be books, pamphlets and such. And they come in different types. There are a profusion of travel and adventure literature requiring a zillion pics. Or the people magazines, but they thrive on the publishable characters. Fashion, you will have to know fashion if you want to freealance it. Oh well take a chance, don't wonder.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks for the hints, me trying all avenues, it has been very interesting trying to kick start the business but going okay so far smile

Hope you having a lovely weekend.

Jerry in Tampa
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Jerry, me glad the image is liked, I would love to say I put hours & hours into retouching this shot, but All I can say is I took quite a little while making sure the lighting was right when I was taking the image smile

This is not the kind of look I am drawn to, Suby, but I do know it's a model and appeals to the masses. But I must say that less is more for me in your PPing. Very nicely done.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks for the comments Ginnie, So let me ask you a question, what and how do you think this image should look to appeal to you (he he, now you in for it lol) smile

You did all the work at the front end, and that's what photography used to be about. I admire it very much. I think she's spot on. Wow. Just flawless. I'm fascinated by her Asian look: the lips, her silk kimono, very punk geisha.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ruth, I look at it this way, when it comes to PPI feel I am now up to scratch, when it comes to photography, girl I am still learning, lighting is so hard and difficult to get most or all of the time, I want to be one of those that get lighting and composition right most of the time smile

Suby
Thats a stunning portrait!!
About the pp, totally agree. Mine is kept to minimum, as i know really little ;-)
You have a very diverse collection of shots here, of the model work, I like this one just for the colors and the fact that it's a great advertising shot.
