Suby In The House

01:23hrs

Been a long day, covered a fashion show yesterday evening, this is one of the shots from the show. No editing apart from the borders. Yep straight off the camera. This was a very challenging fashion show to shoot, as anyone who has shot fashion shows knows, flash is out, and the organisers never make it easy lighting wise, here they had all sorts of funky coloured lights thats kept blinking on and off, and when the models got to the end of the runway, only the lower part of the body was fully illuminated. Took me a little while to get used to the rythm of the lighting.

Good thing was because the lighting was the way it was, got soo many amazing images, was an interesting shoot. Anyway, got to be up & out very early today (by 07:30hrs),

Decided to drop some male totty for the females out there. Maybe I will drop a few more male images, been neglecting the brothers for a while.

Have a lovely day and weekend, and see you at my next post (whenever that is)

There's actually no need for pp on a shot as ...this.
Couldnt be better.
Suby & Sinem: Nope none required, the shots are lovely as they are, okay maybe a few need a quick colour adjustment but thats it grin

Suby
Hmmm...Suby, why did you cut his hair and toes off wink?
Suby & Sinem: LOL, was not intentional, was shooting at 200mm and my aim was actually to get him completely framed in the picture which I did get and then get 2 other shots (all at 200mm) while he was walking toward the camera, i.e full body, shot from just above the knee and a close up from the waist up, however for whatever reason, I just seem to love this shot more than the rest I took of him :d He was a lively character on the catwalk.

Ah the challanges of the runway !, but it's fun isn't it ? I have to take my hat off to you bro. I've done it twice now and not one of my shots were worth showing to anyone, but then I wasn't being paid to do it so no pressure for me. Knowing the difficulties I think you've done a really good job here.
Suby & Sinem: Yup, the jostling for position with a million other photographers while trying to ensure you don't obstuct the veiw of those watching, it sure ain't easy. I do agree, not the easiest thing to shoot, but for some reason, I love fashion shows :d Thanks bro and have a cool weekend

Suby
artistic shot.
Suby & Sinem: Aaaawwww, as they say here, me so chuffed smile

Suby
I likey this one my friend. Wish that light wasn't shining back at you, and maybe if you haddn't cut the top of his head off....but it is a cool shot.

Good to see you back. I need to post something new, but have been really tied up with this book and all.

Hope all is well....have a great weekend.
m~
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Mike, got used to the light after a while and made it work for me (at least I think smile ) True about the slight niggles, I just loved the shot soo much, the shot with him all in the frame does not seem to hit the buttons as this one does grin

Hey Subster, how you doing bro? Great shot off camera, pity about those hideous clothes and make up tongue I do not think I will be rushing out to buy that outfit!! It is a shame about the 2 slight flaws, but to be honest, I don't particularly feel that the problem with the feet is all that worrisome anyway. I kinda like that light also. Have a super weekend mate. Best regards to you and Sinem. Neil.
Suby & Sinem: Me cool Neil, what do I know about clothes, you spend your time at these functions looking through the camera eye that you don't have much time to "appreciate" such coutoure lol

You have a smashing weekend bro
Heehee...I had the same problem when I was shooting this shot.

That is why I'd rather shoot at say 100mm and crop, dude, you have 16MP to play with, you're not going to print this full size are you!

This shows wot the 1ds mk ii can do.
A flash IMO would have ruined this.
The stage lights also adds some drama to the shot.
I better start saving up for the mk ii. lol
really nice colors Suby

this fire starter looks like he means business Suby. Lovely shot, I feel this guys attitude. mal
Umm...He's not really my type!!!

Oh well.

Great shot, but I do wonder who really would wear that stuff??? It's awful!

Makes me chuckle because it reminds me of this awful bubble gum band called the "Bay City Rollers" from the 1970's. Have a look:

Thanks goodness our son isn't likely to wear this stuff, it looks like something from about twenty years ago! And the face paint, will we see that on the streets?

Powerful picture though, good on yer!

I like the fact that you dont have the head and feet. I dont think it would have made a difference at all. I actually prefer it this way. it makes the photo "alive" rather than a boring text-book shot: get the head, get the whole body, right this, blah that, yackidy shamck that.

Though I dont really like the shot, I do have to say that I like the fact that it has a "mistake".

Reza doesn't much like models...empty souls if you ask me.
