Suby In The House

Spent most of the long weekend either shooting, head buried in one photoshop or photography book or another, in front of the PC and spending some quality time with Sinem (not all in that order).

Seems the summer is nigh, (ahhh the bit of the year I dislike, just way too hot) but can't complain, it is supposed to be the busiest period for Photographers (do I get a Halleluja people? lol) . Looking forward to this period, I actually am looking forward to the images I will capture.

Enjoy.

Well executed idea. Were you standing on anything?
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Busola, naaa, was just stood on the floor, the wide lens sometimes gives off that effect grin

Suby
Halleluja! Yeah, I dread the heat out here in Vegas but, hey, the blossoming flowers and lovely sites do make for great captures.

Suby, the real world is better than the blogging world...
So don't be sad that you are busy off line! It shows you are on the right track in your career! Keep going and say hello once in a while!
Always nice to hear from you !
Suby & Sinem: Thanks bro, always good to see you visit, thanks for the encouragement.

Fabulous shot Suby. Very nice contrast of the hay and the sky. The shadow is very well placed in the frame. Thanx for sharing this.
nice vignetting
Suby & Sinem: Thannks Ade, this image took me about an hour to edit and get right smile

Suby

Suby & Sinem: Aaaawww, thank you, glad you like smile Maybe I should post more of my non people shots, you will be amazed at just how many I have, just never feel they are good enough grin

Nice shadow play !
A nice prelude to all the wonderful shots in the pipeline smile
We had snow flurries on Easter and ice on the car windows the past week or so. It's supposed to be warm out not bitter cold. I want the warm weather. The flowers should be blooming by now and so few are. Brrrrrrr....tooo cccccold here!
I like this one man. Even the shadow works in this. I usually don't like that, but the depth of this shot makes it fit. I did the same thing this weekend, except we had snow, so I took some shots of the snow covered fields. Check it out the rest of the week.

take care....

Dear Suby and Simen, thank you for passing by and dropping such a sweet line. Here I am admiring your shadow-shot! It is so evokative and metacritical. I love it, as you see the machine married to the elements.

When we (actually Marcello)did our shadow-shots something like 10 years ago in Paestum, we felt so happy when we found that the camera had seen what we had seen and created the effect we were hoping for (plus something extra coming from within the camera itself!)
I am no photographer, you know! I do not dare commenting real photographers' works of art technically, but I do visit this blog regularly and appreciate its magistral tecnicality and poetics.
wink
Ciao, erminia
