Suby In The House

Okay archive raiding, was looking for an image yesterday and came across this image I took sometime last year, just for the fun of it I had a play with the image.

This was taken at the time when I was still learning about lighting (I am still learning by the way lol) and the image was lit by bouncing my speedlite of a white cardboard in my then crappily lit garage.  You should have seen me, camera in one hand and white cardboard in another hand, trying to look as professional to the model as I could. Have to say I was rather pleased with the end result (but thats just my own personal veiw).

Don't matter the equipement you have or don't have, I believe we all have to make the best of the situation and ensure we are able to get the best image using what we have, not what we intend to get.  One of the most important things to learn and hopefully start to understand in photography is "LIGHTING" I believe I still have a loooong, looong long way to go in this area, but with each passing day and shoot I do, I will try to make sure I at least maybe almost reach the end of that never ending tunnel.

Hope you guys all had a lovely weekend and wish you all a successful and pleasant week. Thanks for visiting and do please visit again tomorrow.

Very very nice portrait. Great eyes. Unusual expression...perhaps your antics made her think maybe you were not a pro photographer but a con artist who was doing this charade just so you could make a case to see her naked....eeerrr...shoulders. [grin]
