Introducing Mr & Mrs Orton

Suby In The House

My awesomely lovely & beautiful cuz (cousin) Kitty got married to her handsome dream man Gavin on Saturday in Shrewsbury. I have to say they look so beautiful & happy together, PERFECT COUPLE. (Feel free to place "aaaaawwwww" here )

Challenged myself for this wedding to shoot most of the day using only my 50mm prime with no flash, no I was not the official photographer but a guest with his big guns LOL. Sinem also had her camera and captured some stunning images, she certainly is developing into a extremely creative and awesome wedding photographer.

Anyway I digress, back to my lovely cuz. We managed to get some stunning images of the couple which I hope to post up a few in the next few days. Even though it rained most of the day, it could not have been a more beautiful day for these 2 to get married.

Kitty & Gavin, may you have a trully blessed and beautiful happy marriage with 12 daughters & sons LOL, have a lovely honeymoon and see you when you get back.

Very well composed, a nice shot to kick off the week.

Suby
aaaaaawwwwwww! Wonderful mood here.
Suby & Sinem: smile Thanks Mary

Very symbolic image, ideal for starting their lives together. He is shielding her from the elements with his umbrella, which can be indicative of him shielding and protecting her throughout their journey together. Lovely shot. I wish the picture was somewhat closer up though, so we can see their expressions a bit more clearly, but still a great shot.
Suby & Sinem: I could not have put it words better smile Thanks for the comment

AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! Great setting and super use of the surroundings for the framing Subster. It is really great to be the non official photographer at these events, to get the relaxed candid moments like this - one of the reasons for not being a wedding photographer myself (apart from being c@#p at it)!! This is a beautiful photo, although for some reason, the PP is not quite doing it for me, not quite sure why. Maybe that the wedding couple appear a little washed out/over exposed. However, I am sure that Kitty and Gavin will love it and that is what is really important. Kindest regards to you and Sinem. Neil.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Neoil, the PP is very intentional and a departure from the norm, hope you having a lovely day grin

I know I'm slightly biased because I'm her sister, but this is a beautiful photograph and they are an amazing couple! I'm so glad you and sinem were there snapping away because this is a lovely photo and I know there are plenty more where it came from!
Suby & Sinem: Yup there are, was not possibl;e to get a bad picture of these 2 (how annoyingly jealous I am) :d

Suby

Awwwww... Christiana!!!
There's a "Gone with the wind" atmosphere here. Very nice wedding portrait !
Another likey my friend. A tad harsh for my taste, but I know what you were going for here. I got a few to post this week, but nothing this good.

Have a good one.....

it must be find to take original wedding pictures - but you seem to manage it smile
Fantastic. Okay now.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bro, laughing hard here :d

Suby
To me it looks good but I've never taken a pic at a wedding so.... smile I could do without the writing down in the right corner (don't like the font) but that's not really a part of the pic imho smile
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Aksel, sometimes we have to look at the bigger picture of how the image may be presented to the client or how it may be used to tell a story in the wedding album, photobook or CD, I sometimes present my images here how they are presented to the clients smile Thanks for the visit, maybe you will like tomorows better :d

That is a fine shot Suby with the nifty 50.
Aaaaawwwwww. smile

A lovely shot, beautifully composed. A real keeper.
I know it's a silly reaction, but the umbrella doesn't belong in this shot, at least not that one....They surely won't care about that, but as the wedding photographer, I'd have come with a selection. Do you see where I'm going with this? Such a dreamy, enchanting location, and a brolly that looks like it was bought from Woolworths. 60 mins processing, Subs....I daren't ask...lol!

Suby & Sinem: Thanks Vim, it was actually pouring down with rain a few moments earlier lol
