Suby In The House

Just a thought provoking image from me today. I hope you guys like it.

_____________________________________________________________________________

Editing: I shot this mid afternoon, outside with one softbox at 45 degrees, converted to B&W using the calculation method, added a slight blur to everything else but the hands then added a slight tone of Sepia.

Nice combination of image and verse.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Red smile

Suby
he looks like he is giving the finger in a very disguised way.
the more i see it,the more im convinced.

why not call the picture "the bird"

pretty cool pic
Suby & Sinem: Cool, if thats what you see, Suby's job as a photographer done :d

Suby
P.s
Don't think calling it "The Bird" will work effectively from that verse from the bible.
Nice. He looks like he's just received some bad news, smile
The colour is perfect for the mood of the picture and for the message you are trying to get across.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Fehi, maybe he is just contemplating life grin

Suby
And we like it Suby smile It's funny to see your day post and compare it with Alakija - Seems there is a mental connection smile
Suby & Sinem: Think it's all about the mood and the lighting for shoots like these, not an easy thing to pull of but the Alakija fella is a master when it comes to images like these

Suby
Simply beautiful.....
Suby & Sinem: Awww, thanks Anup

Suby

nice portrait... liking the pose. h/eva, i think the pp on the left side of his face seems a bit too heavy.
Suby & Sinem: No PP on the left side of face smile But you like it so I grab that lol

SUby
Is he flipping you the bird, Subs?
Suby & Sinem: LOL, I am naive I swear it, until this was mentioned I did not see it that way, even looking at it again still don't see it that way, so if you think he "flipping" the bird, then maybe he flipping the bird (or maybe he just holding his face ) grin

Wonderful portrait, Suby.

Not so sure about the old testament quote though...I doubt it fits the image...I have occasionally been in need of a [nudge nudge, wink wink] "helper" and I am sure my body language has not been like this.

But...I do like your God's choice of the gender-neutral word "helper". [grin]
Suby & Sinem: LOL, it just seemed appropriate for the mood and thoughts of the shoot, have 2 more shots planned, would be interesting to see what you make of them grin

I do like this very much Suby, it's a lovely portrait...and contemplation is essential.
Suby & Sinem: I do agree, the contemplation is essential, 2 more images in this genre coming your way in the next 2 days :d

Suby

I once heard years ago, Suby, that it's not good for anyone to be alone, male or female, because we're all made in the image of God and God is plural (Father, Son and Holy Spirit)--therefore God is not alone. I've never forgotten that.
Suby & Sinem: I definitely agree with that :d
