nice b&w Suby grin
Very nice. It must be nice to have a cooperative cat.
great B&W
I dunno, methinx its a bit too b/w for me, cuz I almost didnt see the cat, infact I didnt see it, till I read other people's comments....or maybe it's just my sight...
nice shot
I like it! The light is still wonderful. Just to clarify, I was referring to the words you added to the photo yesterday, not your write-up, which is generally very informative and well worth reading. Please accept my apology if my comment read differently.
Suby & Sinem: Martin, it is I who should apologise, I was not offended by what you wrote, but for me it sort of made sense so I decided to steal that quote from you. Really do want to leave this image up for interpretation, your comment just made sense to me smile

Suby
Cute guy and nice photo!
Hey Brother,

Nice catch. I'm heading back to SE Asia tomorrow morning so I'll be gone for a couple weeks. Hopefully I'll bring back some shots to post here. Keep an eye on things for me here... smile and keep some good thoughts for me also....

later....

You know, what's nice about this for me is that I've had to look so very hard at the picture to see what's making this chap happy. I've only seen other people's comments since I chose to leave a comment, but to me it looked like a tiny little bear, a toy, rather than a cat.

The picture is nice and relaxed and by your standards doesn't look as if it's had a lot of processing. I like it smile
I really like the "crisp-ness" and contrast of this shot, is that the 1ds or "L" glass . . .

Anyways this is real nice b&w work, I'm going to have to work on my "people" photography skills and you guys always have good examples for me to look at. Thanks.

This IS very natural, Suby, which is why I like it as well. Also, I learn my B&W conversions from you!
very interesting b/w conversion, i'll have to stud the calculations method myself a bit better, it seems like the nerves in the wood took most advantage from the conversion you choose. Very very nice, captivating.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Patrick, that conversion method is taking me more than 3 years to master, when I think I have got it I always find something new to learn smile

Suby
