Suby In The House

I took this shot during our trip to Camden in April, (look at Sinem's posts between 11-20 April 07). I intended this shot to be the initial post but then decided to edit Sinem's shots that where used in her series.

What attracted me to take this shot was how striking, cool and strong this guy looked in the crowd. He looked so purposeful as he made his way through the crowd, my camera eye was drawn to him. He definitely had that magic charm, I know Sinem gave you guys a Camden portrait of a Camden chick, well here I give you a Camden portrait, Camden style, Camden cool GUY.

Did you notice he was doing wheelies with his chair as well. You are right he stood out. camden is full of all kinds of colourful characters and i get to meet them daily. Much respect
You've captured his style and presence, with his wheels in the air. Nice one.
Suby & Sinem: Really glad I WAS able to do this with this shot, thanks for the comment. grin

Suby
I can see why you were drawn to this character. The processing is very appropriate too.
Suby & Sinem: Thank Martin :d

Morning Subster. I had some pics like this ready (almost) to post and lost them when my hard drive crashed. As this is one of the forms of photography I adore doing, I can really appreciate this great shot. For me, the colour treatment is a touch heavy, but if as I suspect, that is more to do with the SC upload than your PP, then disregard the comment grin grin (I had it happen to me recently, that the sepia got over sat in upload). I definitely agree with your sentiments about this guy. Great capture bro. Many kind regards, Neil.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks bro, colour treatment was actually all intentional smile So it's all my PP not Shutterchance. Glad you like though

It's a very powerful capture, Suby. I can see why you were drawn to this strong guy. I think he'd be touched by your sentiments.
Suby & Sinem: I really hope he will if he ever comes across my blog smile He really did stand out in such a positive way.

He certainly has a very determined and assured expression. I love the highlights around his head and shoulder, incidentally.

Masterful! One of the best pictures I have seen on Shutterchance. Great reference picture for me to learn from.
His look is 'pshh I'm just as able as all of u' and he sure is...This shot gives him a different aura. I love it...and ur tones work perfectly..this is one of those shots u dont see often. Kudos Suby
I really like this one, it's got a "period" look and feel... nice!

tones are spot on
Nice tone my friend. I like this one alot. You got a great catch here. Hey...check this out: http://shimworld.wordpress.com/2007/06/05/flood-of-tears-by-mike-patterson/
I thought that was pretty cool.

Take care, I have about 1300 shots from Indonesia to work on....
Nice tones, but I'd like to have seen a wider composition to give more context to the shot in this case. I think he would still have enough presence to carry the shot with a wider perspective.

Suby, I have to say this...as a daughter of a WWII blinded veteran, I've noticed that "handicapped" people are not handicapped. They are enabled, have can-do attitudes, and nothing gets in their way. My dad was exactly like that, and it looks like this guy is the very same way. Thank you for the shot. It tells a great story.
Un magnífico retrato, donde has captado las emociones del hombre.

A magnificent picture, where you have caught the emotions of the man.

Very good, a picture of a man with detemination
great street-photography capture. very authentic!
I like this ... your photograph totally captured his purposefulness, you can see that he has somewhere to go and he is on a mission to get there. When I look at it, it seems a bit that everyone else is standing still and he is the only one moving.
Suby & Sinem: I totally agree with your veiws of this shot vickii, you definitely s aw what I saw whenI saw him. He actually came across to me as the most "able" person in the shot :d

Thanks for the visit cuz grin

Suby
Yep. Lovely shot and processing. Liked this one as much as I had liked the other shots in the Camden series.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Anup :d

Suby
I love the quiet determination in his face.
Suby & Sinem: Yup, he looks like he definitely knows where he is going to and what he intends to do when he gets there smile

Thanks Suby
