Suby In The House

Been a long day, stupid PC repair guy lied he came over to my house this morning to repair PC but no one was home, and he left  a calling card, LIE as I was waiting all morning for him and there was no calling card pushed thtough my door. So now I have to wait till Monday for another PC repair guy to come out.  Till then no PC no work for Suby, Aaaaahhhhh

P.s Got my MAC today, cool, but can't do much with it as it has to go back to the shop to get an upgrade of the hard drive and memory sometime next week, so for now, it is solely to be used to access the internet, bummer, the 24" screen is sublime though. Have to get used to using a MAC quick
Not in a good mood :(

I hate to tell you this, Suby, but we're in a Mercury Retrograde phase now till July 9th. Stuff related to computers, communications, wires, etc, will give us all fits till it's over. Make sure you save everything and take time to remember where you put things. Thank God it happens only 3 or 4 times a year!
Suby & Sinem: Saved all in trplicate LOL, trying to understand how to work a MAC, so far f ailing misereably, but will get there, at least I can surf the internet for now, can't wait to be up and tunning, have so much work to do sad

Suby
I feel your pain bro !!! I wouldn't want ot feel the pain these guys get when they fall though. Nice picture...
Suby & Sinem: Boy I have to give it to these guys, they skate on pure concrete and hit the floor real hard, and all they do is get up and try the stunt again until they get it right, say a few broken arms in the crowd grin

great timing Have great weekend!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Chantal. You have a lovely fun weekend to grin

Suby
I hardly leave you critism but this time I going to have to do that.

Suby, before you take a shot, think the follow
1. Compositioin
2. Foreground
3. Background.
4. Angle

Here your background is badly competing with your foreground, so much so I can't really tell what the main subject is. I also think that your shot is missing a bit of drama that it is crying out for, this is what the angle is all about.

I kinda get a sense you were trigger happy when you took this one. For that I will have to scold you and say "Think before you click".

This was a good moment and it SHOULD have been captured a lot better.

Okay go back and do another one.

grin - You didn't think that the "Kija Man" could talk did you?
Suby & Sinem: LOL, that is a 1st, the Alakija fella comments and critiques one of my images smile

I hear you bro, all I can s ay is this shot was all intentional, I have a few other shots (at least I think I do LOL) that may give the points you posted above, the reason i actually tool this shot this way was because I really wanted the skater to be blurred and ther background and the skaters by the wall to look like just part of the scenery, took me about 15 snaps before I felt I got it right, I love the way the guys a gainst the wall are not paying attention tot he guy on skates and they are looking elsewhere, the irony of the shot was what attracted me. Oh well it's an experiment, you try and then wait on people to tell you what they think, so cool cool to know what you think (you should do this more often grin)
Suby
I read your reply to Alakija and now I cant think of any comment for this one smile
Suby & Sinem: LOL grin
Suby
Very lively action shot. Even the background gets with the program. I like it!
I think it's an interesting choice not to give the eye anywhere to rest. At no time am I ever tempted to look at the skater performing the trick in the centre. That is an amazing trick, to make the viewer (well, me anyway) want to ignore something that is front and centre and should be the subject of the photo.

Hope your computer woes are behind you soon. A switch to the Mac is somewhere in my future too. I've been trying to teach myself Aperture, with abysmal results so far. However, I did manage to take your advice and convert my Field Cradle photo to B&W and I also did a sepia one too.
magnifique
This is brilliante!
No te preocupes, Suby... enseguida repararán tu Pc wink La foto me gusta pero hay demasiados detalles y la vista se me confunde ! smile

You do not worry, Suby... immediately will repair your PCwink The photo I like but there are too many details and the view is confused to me! smile
Suby & Sinem: Thanks for the comments bro, yup a very confusing image :d

Suby
Very well sposted... (Hope you'll find out soon with your PC).
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Roland, I am slowly loosing all hope with PC, the aim is to slowly start migrating all my work flow to MAC and use the PC solely as a back-up in case anything happens, have to say, yes MAC is not the easiest machine to master but realitvely easy to master, once you do, one start realising what an awesome machine they are :d

Suby
lovely tones...i ahve to get this dynamic range thing down, any advice you can give would be appreciated...
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Sam, the camera and lens used helps but also how one edits their images is very important. One day during your summer holiday, feel free to come down to Milton Keynes to bask in my glory LOL. I will show you just how easy it is to achieve most of what I achieve, it is actually easier than you think & I bet you know them all already :d
