Suby In The House

03:32hrs: Just finished a shoot about 1 hour ago, been a looong day. This is one of the images from the day, edited in iphoto, this is the lovely Dominque, very patient and lovely model to work with. It was a fun shot, to tired to write more, maybe some more details later today

Dominique definitely looks like a lovely model to work with, I love the composition, the props, the tones and the light, the makeup too, but what's ip with the pp? I am not sure about the paleness of the image, or is it my new safari browser in windows that makes the colors look like that?
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Patrick, the PP is actually what I was looking for, I underexposed the shot a lot when shooting then just boosted the brightness and the exposure while knowing that the shot will come out with this red tone and feel, the aim was to give prominence and a unique look to the model and necklace.

Suby
really like the filmy effect and the way the brown and green tones just pop out...lovely shot suby...
Suby & Sinem: Thanks bro, that was exactly the aim grin

you must be tired Suby. Maybe the balck background doesn't help but this just looks like you got the exposure wrong
Suby & Sinem: Yup was tired but not tired enough to post up an image that does not deliver exactly what I was looking for, the exposure right, underexposed the shot by a lot cause I was looking for this feel and tone for the shot smile TYhanks for the comments bro.

Suby
iPhoto ? I just tried to recreate this in iPhoto and couldn't quite get there. What did you do Suby, but before you answer that I do like this and she looks incredible.
Suby & Sinem: Okay place subject in front of black background, room should be badly lit, then underexpose the shot as much as you can get away with and then in iphoto increase the brightness and exposure, you can increase the contrast slightly, smile

Suby
Looks like she is about to emerge like a godess summoned. It does have a dramatic feel to it. Will be interesting to know what you were really trying to achieve.
Suby & Sinem: You have said it, "Looks like she is about to emerge like a godess summoned" smile Always down to the veiwers to interprete my images grin

The picture looks almost as if it's a reflection on a metal surface, not a mirror. I actually like it, but I can't really work out why.
Suby & Sinem: LOL, thanks Ellie, I really like the fact you like it, "but can't work out why" grin

An image of excruciating beauty, Suby. In this case I feel the slightly assymetrical situation actually enhances the image.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ray, glad you appreciate this shot.

lovely, I like iphoto a lot, its a simple program with lots of potentials.
Suby & Sinem: Yes it does have a lot of potential, just come across it and it takes all the basic boxes

Suby
I'm in agreement with the others about the brightness layer to cover for underexposure. It looks like a shot taken with a cheap camera or a bad scan from a film shot or just bad exposure. I know it's what you were going for. I just don't really get it or care for the result much.

She is lovely though.
Suby & Sinem: LOL, well thats art for you, some like it, some dislike it, it becomes a talking point then goes on to sell for millions (at least in my dreams it does smile )

Suby
wow... absolutely absolutely love thissmile
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ade, just wanted an image that was different from the norm a little iconic, not everyone appreciates different images like these, glad you do :d

Suby
I love this photo and I think the model is really beautiful!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Vickii, always lovely reading your comments grin
