This image was taken a few weeks ago, those who pay attention when visiting this blog should "know" who she is :) (yes another quiz). 100% thanks to all those who posted up their veiws on yesterdays image and rant lol, we appreciate the time and effort you guys make when commenting on our work.

Thank You, Thank you from Suby & Sinem

P.s
Can anyone suggest an appropriate title for this image? I am currently dead in the imagination department

Art is the organisation of sense impressions [into pleasurable formal relations] that expresses the artist's sensibility and communicates to his audience a sense of values that can transform their lives.

A
rt is a (product of) human activity, made with the intention of stimulating the human senses as well as the human mind: thus art is an action, an object, or a collection of actions and objects created with the intention of transmitting emotions and/or ideas. Beyond this description, there is no general agreed-upon definition of art, since defining the boundaries of "art" is subjective, but the impetus for art is often called human creativity

An artwork is normally assessed in quality by the amount of stimulation it brings about. The impact it has on people, the number of people that can relate to it, the degree of their appreciation, and the effect or influence it has or has had in the past, all accumulate to the "degree of art." Most artworks that are widely considered to be "masterpieces" possess these attributes.

Nice one, Subster! However, she has too many clothes on for my liking smilesmilesmile
Suby & Sinem: Laughing hard here Dave, My neighbors will be thinking what the mad Subster is up to at this hour of the day laughing so hard.
Loving this, the sharpness of the cigarette is beautiful. Is it the same model from the 1st of Aug. An apt title could be 'Cig-mission', a play on cigarette and intermission.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bandoras, Interesting title suggestion & guess, lets see what others come up with grin
Hmmm, this is a tough one on both counts. I'm struggling with who the model is. I see a hint of freckles that I also saw on your model from 3rd August, but this one's face seems a lot slimmer. For a title, i suggest 'she lay in wait'.
Suby & Sinem: Look out for tomorrows post for the answer to the mini quiz smile

Congratulations, Suby and Sinem! 500 posts - that's huge!!!
I love this photograph almost as much as yesterday's post. A good title?
Hmmm, images of a young Juliette Greco. Go to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juliette_Greco
(Copied the first para. for your convenience but her picture is posted on the wiki)
Juliette Gréco was born in Montpellier to a Corsican father and a mother active in the Résistance, in the Hérault département of southern France. She was raised by her maternal grandparents. Gréco also became involved in the Résistance, and was caught but not deported because of her young age. She moved to Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris in 1946 after her mother left the country for Indochina with the French Navy.

Gréco came to be one of the stars of the bohemian "in" crowd of post-war France. She embodied the disenchantment and poverty of the French intellectuals following World War II. Gréco dressed all in black and let her long, black hair hang free.

A famous description of Gréco is that her voice "encompasses millions of poems". She was an inspiration to many of the writers and artists working in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Boris Vian.[cite this quote] Some of these artists would write songs for her to sing.

She fell in love with and almost married Miles Davis when he visited Paris in 1949.

She herself favored the bohemian style. However, your model looks a lot like Juliette. I would title this "ala Juliette Greco".
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Kay, acually after seeing Juliette's images, there is a semblance of her and that era in this image smile

Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bro, good title idea grin

P.s
U sure this was not composed and taken by Sinem tongue
very good DOF
Suby & Sinem: We definitely agree with that grin
Thank you, both of you. I love this shot and now I know what kind of posess I should be going for as yesterday I was told by a world renowned shooter that I didn't have enough variety in my work, that kinda hurt a bit but then I saw he was right and after looking at this I know I have to change. A good working title for this is " Time Out ".

J
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Johnny, it always is lovely to know we inspire anyone smile You have variety as you capture what YOU want, isn't that enough? grin
C'est la vie!!! - as the title of the image. I love it. She looks like a french lady who has just broken up with her lover of 3 yrs and is like ahh what the heck., I'm still sexy.
Suby & Sinem: Ngozi you have a superb imagination, I have to tell you the model absolutely loved your comment, think you made her day grin
A brilliant taking, Suby! I like the photos done from the head! Title: "Fumando espero ... al hombre que yo quiero..." As it says the song of Sara Montiel!
Ahhh... I think that she can be Nicola! Yes?
Suby & Sinem: Thanks for the title idea Jose, but are you correct in your guess as to the model? If we get home early enough you should get the answer on tomorrows post grin
Eiiiihh!! Suby & Sinem! This is your 500 post in SC! Congratulations!!
Suby & Sinem: Aaawww, thanks Jose grin

I don't think women smoking and drinking are sexy or elegant, but this woman is both: very sexy and extremely elegant. I like this image very much.
Suby & Sinem: Neither do I, but the model pulled it off real elegantly and sexily, Thanks for the comment and visit Nissou
