Flight Of The Seagulls

Subysphoto

Yes you actually are in Suby & Sin's House :) Just a little something different from fashion shots maybe for the next week or so. Always good to mix things up once in a while.

We do undertake many other different styles of photography, we just hardly get the opportunity to post them.

Different processing from our usual style done here, the image has been predominantly processed with the curve tool. For us the most improtant tool in Photoshop or any Editing software.

We are really loving the new template, allows us to display larger images which truly shows the beauty of the images.

We definitely are still Suby & Sinem - Fashion Photographers

P.s: We have queued a couple of images for the next week or so, we are going to be extremely busy. Please all enjoy

Very fashionable seagulls, they are, too.
This is a fabulous image...lots of action, and interesting water textures.

Caught me by surprise this one you two! I like the bubbles on the surface and I really like the main Grey Gulls outstretched wings, no I won't be overley critical as I'm glad you guys got out and shot some nature shots. Nice change-up, I wonder what's in store for the rest of the week.

Liking this guys.

Nice DOF, S/S! I agree with you on the Curves tool I think it's so vital in bringing the best out in an image!
lovely composiiton and tone. The hot spots here distract. Remember the eyes get drawn to the lightest part of your image, I think you could have done better in your PP on the highlights on all 4 seagulls.

I love the curve tool. Curve and levels. This is lovely. The colors are wonderful.
This is different from you !! It's a cracking shot ..
I like this very much, love the detail on the seagull in the foreground, and the water. (:o)
Really really nice picture. DoF really directs your eye towards that first bird.

Thanks, I needed the reassurance that I am at the right address. Although anything can happen in the fashion world.

Great action shot of how the poor gulls have to struggle against the incline. The detail of the splashing water is lovely.

So you are busy the next week or so. Good. You should prepare for some guests I guess and then afterwards clean up? Wtach it, there are some notorious characters amongst them.
nice timing

What the...? Am I in the right place? Now you're showing us *four* birds together!

A most unusual but nonetheless welcome subject from Messrs Suby & Sinem.

Ok, a few points - I like the toning, and the 'poses' of birds 1-3 are brill. Even the tilt doesn't bother me (too much).

What does bother me a bit though, is the burnt out areas on #2 & #3 which are harsh and dragging my eye. I like the areas that are in the plane of focus a lot, but there's something well weird going on with the highlights in the out of focus areas. What lens were you using? The other thing is that there's loads of dust bunnies (actually, they must be monsters at F5.6). In fact there's a kind of arc effect towards the left - have you been resting a beer bottle on your sensor? smile smile

Keep 'em coming.
Your shutterspeed is the key here I think. The water is very crisp in the focused area. I would use a higher aperture to get all the gulls sharp though, but i suspect there wasn't enough light?
Still i like it very much even without one of the gorgeous models in the frame wink
Kind regards, Rafael.
