What are editorial stock photographs?

Editorial stock photos are defined as images that are considered newsworthy and will be used by newspapers, magazines, TV and other news organizations that do not endorse a product. It can be used as illustrations in books, magazines, informational books and electronic media or any educational materials.

We definitely are still Suby & Sinem - Creative Photographers

Nice shot. Honestly I wouldn't put any vignetting if I was going to post this as a stock photo.

Also the shot needs straightening..wink
Suby & Sinem: Vignetting, where? Sorry this is exactly how the catwalk was lit so most of the images taken at the end of the runway have a natural vignette. All that was done to this image was colour correction. Now as to the straightening, thats subjective, looks pretty straight enough from here grin

I don't know flip about this type of photography so keep that in mind and take my comment in that context. The image is kind of flat for me. It doesn't really do much in terms of uniqueness or making me feel a wow factor. Maybe that is not what it should do. Maybe it is just used to report the event happened. The sign on the wall behind her head is driving me crazy.
Suby & Sinem: LOL, well thanks for your comments, as it's an image that is going to be used in an editorial context, there isn't much the photographer is allowed to do, getting it right in camera as much as possible is paramount, colour correction and dust removal/clean is pretty much it for images like these. So something like the removal of the sign which is 100% part of the context of the image cannot be removed for any reasons. smile
Keep upu the good work guys . BTW do you have any back stage passes to LFW08 !!!!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Shakara, back stage passes? You mean passes to go into the models dressing area? If that no (not of any use to us), Got pass for every where else.

I think the Alakija man refers to the catwalk for straightening - you do that and we can see if she ends up on her back tongue

Thanks for introducing editorial stock photographs into my life - would be something like iStockphoto I guess. A real editorial stock photograph would be without the commercials?

Sweet shot. Your vignetting is probably an issue with the lens, for one I don't mind it.

Oga, I've had a look all your images and my simple diagnoses is that you can't hold the camera straight. GET A TRIPOD!

Lagbaja has spoken!
Suby & Sinem: Well we like the fact that you took the time to comment, always welcome. P.s
We have tripods and a monopod was used when this shot was taken. grin
