Hi folks,

The quality of the PDF sent to us by the magazine is not the best in the world, so if you want to really bask in the beauty of these images, either purchase the magazine at your nearest news stand or visit www.coluremagazine.com

Please enjoy

Hair: Akos Braids
Makeup: Lena Hrncova

The horse looks a bit startled, obviously not used to being held by such a beautiful model.
Suby & Sinem: LOL Aussie, took quite a while to set this shot up, working with animals not an easy thing grin

Congartulations again guys. The horse doesn't seem very Africannyy though.
Suby & Sinem: Thats the aim, to take the African and put in a non African context smile

Nice. Just one critique - the picture is too busy....
Suby & Sinem: Wow 1st comment from me sister in a long while on our work and its a critique, LOL, now people know where I get it from smile
Africa Coutered? Explain this one please
Suby & Sinem: Kulture to Couture, used designers from the fashion Show, there is an article also in the magazine, grab a copy when you can grin
Also African clothes shot in a backdrop/environs of a old country mansion not something one see's every day is it?

Interesting lighting! I like it. (I don't think the horse is really enjoying its job as a model smile)
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Martin, we glad you like, that horse did not want to play game, he kept indication that he did not think we had paid his agent enough in carrots smile

Niiice. smile

Tell the next horse to smile a bit more sweetly, and give it apples not carrots!
Suby & Sinem: I knew there was a reason he was playing the prima donna, he wanted apples smile

flattering lighting

cool concept

there's something untidy about the composition though
i however suspect that that's part of the plot wink
Suby & Sinem: Yup, you hit the nail on the head, all part of the plot smile Took forever to get this shot

like the expression on the horse even though its a bit distracting, it breaks the seriousness of the shoot for me which is cool. the horse reminds me of 'man from the snowy river' movie and 'spirit' cartoon.
who is the designer and how does K2C feature designers?
I am quite interested.

beampeh
Suby & Sinem: Hi Bimpe, thanks for stopping by and leaving comments smile The designers used gere are Kosibah creations, Tina Atiemo & Nkwo (Afro Bohemian Chic), to be featured in K2C, you have to apply for the show and get invited for the auditions where they then select the designers who can take part in the show, lovely way to get your work out there if you get selected smile

Hello there!
Hope you guys are getting trigger happy moments.
Have you ever thought of coming to Nigeria for some shoots of tracking Jamaican Usain 'Lightning'Bolt down for a photoshoot down alongside some Jamaican beauties in clothes and accessories designed by full or half jamaican designers like duro olowu? Sure a magazine may decide to buy the images.
If that happens, send me some cool pounds for the idea!
The shoot can be titled Jamaican welfare.
Bimpe/beampeh
Suby & Sinem: Interesting Idea Bimpe, who knows, maybe oneday soon you will see it in a magazine smile
