The Kids "Reppin"

Okay we a back, apologies for our tardiness in posting images, but we have been extremely busy.

We want to use this opportunity to say thanks to all those who keep visiting our blogs and hopefully finding some sort of inspiration from our work, we appreciate you guys more than you would ever know. You have given us the strength, critique and sometime push when they have been needed, THANK YOU FOLKS :) We also now have the most fantastic (& ofcourse) crazy team of the best MUAs, Bodyartist, Hairstylist and Creative Director in the UK working with us, our team is finally and now ready to conquer the world.

We have over the last few months started to see some of our hard work pay off, (the last 3 years as a full time photographer wasn't actually a bad decision) seems a lot more magazines are loving what we are doing and that shoot for Vogue is not as far a dream as we thought.  The unfortunate thing about shooting for magazines is however we can't show the images until they have been published, such a bummer, you do some fantastic work and sometimes have to wait months before anyone sees them.

The images above are from a lifestyle shoot we did for a magazine last year. The 2 lovely kids were actually the most shy and quietest well behaved kids at least that was until we sunk our teeth into them and passed some of our craziness over to them. By the end of the shoot, you would have thought we had known them all their lives. Now that is something that seperates (in our opinion) getting a awesome picture from just getting "a picture"  There has to be that certain something between the photographer(s) and the subjects, the photographer(s) needs to know how to bring out the best in whoever they photograph. Keep is simple, be yourself and let the subjects slowly but quickly (after all the shoot sometimes last anything from a few minutes to only a few hrs) immerge from their shell.

Most of all have fun,  it's a previledge to be allowed to capture images and to be given an insight into the lives of the people we capture.

Here is to these 2 crazy fun "reppin" kids, hope you had as much fun as we did :)

We definitely are still Suby & Sinem - Creative Photographers

Superb pictures, Sub&Sin.

Looks like you succeeded in getting these kids to drop their inhibitions for a while.

The checked curtains are wonderful backdrop for these images.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ray, was a fun shoot, 2 kids aged 2 made sure of that smile Was shot in a quaint and lovely old hotel somewhere in the middle of nowhere (name and place skips our minds)

I am glad you fixed up these kids! It is very sad if a childhood is mostly remembered for being well behaved smile I like both shots, the one on the right for the cooler tones in the background and the one on the left (obviously) for the crazy pose.

so much life and fun in these pics - great!
Good to see you back, the kids certainly seem relaxed and having fun.
love the shots, loving the write ups, once again guys; astounding work!
Hi Suby, Sinem. It's an interesting comment about not being able to show images until they have been published. I have a set due in a popular lads mag, which I'm can't wait to show, but I just have to wait. Worse still, they've put the publishing date back by a week. You guys are making your mark in the fashion photography world, due to your creative approach, rather than copying what has already gone before.

i love these shots,
its something i'm working on currently,on how to talk effectively while you're behind the lens...
somehow i'm having a hard time talking to strangers, but for people i know, its a breeze to get the kind of expression/pose/movement i want..
Suby & Sinem: You just have to think of the awesome pics you would get if you were a lot more comfortable to the person you are taking the pics off, then you will start to relax and naturally beautiful pics will follow (at least thats what they say in the book LOL smile )
