Lighting, shadow, negative space. Look into the shades and you can see how this was lit :) Model - Nicola Shoot Directors: Suby & Sinem Venue - Studio Clothes - Models Own We definitely are still Suby & Sinem - Creative Photographers "Ars Longa, Vita Brevis"

un homme ou une femme?
Suby & Sinem: Certainement une femme, pourquoi at-elle ressembler ŕ un homme pour vous?
ehmm..source of light,...car head lights?
Suby & Sinem: Read our response to Tolu below
Mr/Mrs I like effect. almost as if leaning on a wall and shadow.... like the sparkle in the shades. beautiful model
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ade
tout simplement une oeuvre d'art!
Suby & Sinem: Merci beaucoup objectif, nous sommes vraiment heureux vous pensez qu'il s'agit d'une śuvre d'art
I like the tight composition and negative space.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Nigel,
Lighting is very good. Does one shoot this kind of shot in a dark room with a single light source?
Suby & Sinem: Shot in a studio, very well lit with 1 umbrella, 1 softbox and a 120 Degree Spill Kill Reflector against a red backdrop. Everything that is done as in the effect we want to get even converting to B&W is thought off even before the shoot as each backdrop will give different textures and feel after converting (depending on how you covert)
Not agent Sin by anychance? Looks like her...
Suby & Sinem: Jide our marriage is over
Cool!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Nadine
Very nice! I'm working terribly hard to understand the different lighting techiniques. I noticed the reflections from the glasses so i knew that it was more than one light source (thats if the reflections were not added during processing, you never know these days), just was not sure how you worked it. I like.
Suby & Sinem: Hi Aisha, read our response to Tolu above, it explains the lighting setup somewhat, nope, we do not add things in photoshop, takes way too much time and we lazy
je pense c'est une femme monsieur Hessian!!
EXCELLENT! (though i'm a 'stranger' i will continue to appreciate your work!)
Suby & Sinem: Bob, apologies, old age catching up with us
