Noir
Noir Usually refers to the classic black and white film noir style used in detective mysteries, typically employing hard lighting and dark, low key lighting. We definitely are still Suby & Sinem - Creative Photographers "Ars Longa, Vita Brevis"

Superb!
Startling how different the feeling is from each image. On the left, one feels there is a sense of vunerability coming from the model. On the right...power, aggression, unwillingness to accept domination. One of your best posts, Sub&Sin.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Ray, always happy to read your comments and how you view our images
the whole time, all I am thinking is wow look how defined those legs are...surely the whole lighting theme (on which I am in NO position to comment technically)did a lot to emphasize her strongest features... I love it!
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Yinks, we smiling huge time here
Two, totally different pictures, it is amazing what looks can do, the right one just has that 'don't get any nearer' all over, the left has the 'deep' thinking, great B%W, it is indeed Noir......
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Astrid, it always is interesting as we both took a picture here, sort of shows our different styles when we shoot
The one on the right is very good with strong impact and clear focus and enough ambiguity to keep the viewer interested. The one on the left doesn't really work for me, I think mostly because her facial expression looks incongruous to me and her lips look bruised.
Suby & Sinem: Interesting take on the images Martin, thanks for taking the time to comment, we always love reading how our images are interpreted
The first one....
The second shot is kinda intense. I wouldn't mind a bit of toning down of the brightness on the window behind the model. All in all, quite nice.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Stan, will look into your suggestion
Interesting....
Suby & Sinem: Interesting indeed
I love this picture.. the way the picture blends into the background at the edges and the raised NOIR is just perfect.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Tolu, we really glad that these images are appreciated
i ain't going to repeat what everyone else has said, but i do like the processing. kudos
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Bandoras
The one on the right is nicely framed by the window pane and focus on her eyes: knees as well. The one on the left nicely framed again and the lines in the wall and fall draw attention to her. Like the contrast oblack and white
Suby & Sinem: You always welcome Ade, and thanks for the visit and comments
This is great! So much energy in this shot.
Suby & Sinem: Yep there is, she was such a fun model to shoot
Both visually stunning. The one on the right is absolutely incredible in my opinion. So strong a composition, such definition.
Amazing
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Floog, we smiling
P.s can you send us a map to this corner of Utopia you are in
Love the composition and posing.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Andriy, we glad you like
i love the whole concept of film noir
i can just imagine a movie that every single frame was lit like this...i'd watch it over and over and over ...ok the plot would have to be solid
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Dr, you sure do have a crazy imagination (we like)
I like the lighting, the second one works best for me.
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Nigel
Lovely image on the right. Very provocative
Suby & Sinem: Thanks Deji, we are glad you like
