Bird by the Moon
Did not post anything yesterday. Had a lot of catching up to do this weekend.....
Had a wardrope we ordered a month ago arrive, it weighs a ton, it looks like we have to take a Phd course in DIY at the nearest college to assemble it? I must have been mad to think I would enjoy putting this monster together as I am not the best with a hammer & spanner or whatever they are called (leave that to the woman :) ) Damn that's the rest of Sunday taken.
Also had to go shopping with the better half to buy this and that, and ofcourse that took like all day. Managed to snatch a few shots on my shopping expedition, one of which is showcased above.
I was starving and had started praying to the Heavens for food when I chanced upon this shot. Sinem is currently creative thinking (she is sleeping) on the regular thougts of the day that will be added to this blog, so stay tuned, the work is only half done :)
BIRD ON THE MOON
Sitting at the one place that puts him in his element, the bird is an old soul watching the beauty of the sunset and the moonlight("two beds with one stone" excuse the pun).
She is watching the days go by as the world turns around in it's own rhythms, oblivious to mankind's time. We have divided the day into time segments. We see the time go by and worry about the things we have not yet completed, not yet accomplished, not yet had the time to experience.
We worry about the fine line, the grey hair, the slow creeping of the sunset of our days.
The bird goes with the rhythm of the world clock, and at the end of another day, contemplates the misery of mankind.
