Suby Back In The House
Okay very frustrated at the moment.
23:30hrs: My phone line has been playing up all evening. I think I have been up the stairs and down it about 40 times this evening trying to figure out what the issue is/was. Well as the phone line working intermittently, I was wondering how I was going to get my post up for tonight.
I was not going to let a dumb phone line get the best of Suby was I? Managed to get it working just long enough to post this (at least I hope, as I am writing this in Word and crossing my fingers the line will hold up long enough)
I took this shot this evening, a friend came over with her kids (that's a story for another time though), weather was just right for an outdoor shoot (in this case right outside my door), and off I wonder dragging my lazy ass behind me. Just as I am taking the most boring shots in the world, the neighbours cat whom I named "Garfield" (on account of it being the fattest laziest cat around) wobbles by looking for it's obligatory bowl of milk from Sinem (she ignored him for once, he he he he).
I try taking shots of the little blighter, and can you believe for the 1st time ever, the darn cat would not sit/stand still. Every time I raised my camera it would turn it's head in the opposite direction. After doing this song and dance for about 2 minutes, I sit on the pavement, keep still, sort of hide behind the leaf (or whatever) growing out the floor and I manage to get this one good shot.
Lucky enough I actually feel that the leaf(or whatever it is) works for the shot. I actually wanted to call this shot "Dang Cat" cause of the frustration I felt taking the shot and the frustration I am currently feeling with my phone line, but Sinem said, it looked like the cat was going out in his Tuxedo, CALL IT THAT. So who am I to argue.
Anyway, seems the phone line is holding up.
I edited this image in record time today, under 5 minutes, really glad how it turned out, what do you think peeps?
